RTL uitzending gemist? Kijk programma's en series terug op RTL XL!

Previous winners were Michael Gorbatjov and former German president Richard von Weiszacker.

In the interview she says that she knows queen (!) Beatrix very well, and that she likes her dearly, Maxima is great, warm, fun, and WA is a wonderful man.

She joked that with Maxima she speaks 'Portanol', a mix of Spanish and Portuguese, though Silvia also speaks some Spanish.

She alsos aid that getting grandchildren made her even more aware that children need to be protected.

Apparently a reporter of a local tv station was late at the press conference, tried to squeze in his microphone while the queen was speaking, and as a result a glass of water fell over a book that was offered to the queen.

Although the subtitles in the interview say "Portanol", I believe the correct word used mostly by native Portuguese speakers is "Portunhol". In Spanish, the same word is spelled "Portuñol".

Queen Silvia gave a big interview to Expressen's Johan T Lindwall in the Netherlands. She spoke about how she felt when she married the king and moved to Sweden. She spoke about her work for the children, she spoke about Estelle and Leonore and how worried she is about their future. The internet and the misuse of it is dangerous.

It's lovely to hear the Queen speak about the early days. It was quite a romance.

The swedish post Postnord has been selling last year and still sells stamps for World Childhood Foundation.
For every booklet of stamps that is sold, SEK 10 goes directly to the organization’s efforts to protect everyone’s right to a childhood.

En dag på jobbet för prinsessan Madeleine | Svensk Damtidning

An article from expressen:

''
Madeleine back on the job after the ski trip
Madeleine with her daughter, Leonore and her husband Chris O'Neill enjoyed skiing recently. But on Tuesday the Princess was back on the job.
Princess Madeleine is following in her mother, Queen Silvia's footsteps and working strongly for various charities. Something that is additional to the heart of the Princess, is her mother Silvia's organization, the World Childhood Foundation. The Queen founded it in 1999 and for several years Madeleine worked for Childhood in the United States and is one of the project managers.

Yesterday was time for one of the annual board meetings of Childhood, Princess Madeleine was of course in place. In February she enjoyed winter life in Gstaad, but she is now back in Sweden.
- Princess Madeleine today represented the royal family, explains Margareta Thorgren at the court's information department.
- Princess Madeleine will undertake several official assignments in the Spring for the Royal Family, continues Thorgren.

After the board meeting yesterday, Princess Madeleine sat at the conference table at the Royal Palace. The next official mission for the Princess is on Monday in Stockholm at a conference on human trafficking - a topic that both Madeleine and Queen Silvia have engaged in for several years.

Both the Princess and the Queen have been recognized for their commitment. Silvia and Madeleine decided not to attend the award ceremony for the Polar Music Prize since laureate Chuck Berry had previously been convicted of trafficking.
- It was a family decision and I hope that everyone respects it, Silvia previously told Expressen.
- Unfortunately, I had heard very late what had happened and then I felt that it was not okay for me to be at the ceremony because there are so many who believe in me, Childhood and the Princess. All these values that are still so important today, she continued.''

Yesterday Princess Madeleine attended day long meetings with executive directors from all 4 countries which have childhood offices, guessing she's the photographer since she's not included in the photo

Bunte print has a story about Madeleine getting paid for Childhood (only a small amount: 550 Euro) in 2013. This is being revealed by Childhood documents in NY.

Its not about the amount but about Madeleine's statement that she works voluntary for Childhood and does not get any kind of compensation.

Has this story popped up in Sweden already?
