One of those organizations mentioned above is called "Half the Sky"(HTS). Princess Madeleine -in her role as project manager for China- was involved in finding out more about HTS's work and the care of the children in their programs while visiting two sites (one in Changzhou, 200 km east of Shanghai and one in the city of Hohhot, in Inner Mongolia). "I have been to China in this capacity several times, but this visit was particularly important as HTS continues to expand in more regions in China.” she said, adding that "meeting with the directors but more importantly, the staff at the centers, and being able to hold and interact with the children, makes our work real and contributes to the understanding of the program and how to help in better ways.”

Looks like the slimy Johan T Lindwall has got a new friend in Chris O'Neill.
At the Expressen's article it is said that Chris attending yesterday at the official celebration of Childhood is just another step into the royal family for Chris O'Neill.
- He is invited and it is only natural. He is living with the princess and they have a common life here in New York., says Bertil Ternert at the court's information department.
http://www.expressen.se/noje/chris-och-madeleine-pa-childhood-galan/
But it wasn't natural to invite Daniel and the Westlings to some event when Daniel was living with Victoria, but of course, they didn't live officially together before the engagement, that must make the difference.
The queen looks exhausted, her hair looks like she went to the dinner straight from the plane and Madeleine is a little too glam considering the closeness of the death in the family. I'm a little surprised of her outfit, I thought that the mourning would be somehow seen in it.
Finnish news and newspapers about the article in Expressen:

Or so he wished...
Thankfully, you can see in the pics that Chris O'Neill and his mother are anything but happy to come face to face with this self-proclaimed toyal tabloid expert.

Norwegian royal expert Kjell Arne Totland says about Silvia, Madeleine, Chris and Eva at the same gala: This is very cozy now. Chris has met Silvia before and Madeleine has met Chris' mother several times, but now they were all together. I think that the relationship of Madeleine and Chris is now going into formalization. They may be already secretly engaged.

Madeleine gave an interview to Expressen while she was at the WCF NASDAQ event. Expressen hasn't put it on the website, but Iltasanomat quotes it:
Madeleine tells that her life is much easier and totally different in New York than in Sweden.
- I can be anonymous here, and it can be tremendously wonderful in many situations. Here I can go to some work event so that no one has a clue that I'm a princess. They just know that my name is Madeleine Bernadotte and that I work for the WCF.
Madeleine is often very happy that she isn't recognized as a princess.
- They don't see me as a princess, that is a good thing for my work. Sometimes the thing that I'm a princess takes the focus away from the child and the problems we are dealing with.
She isn't going to give up her princess-title.
- In addition to my work in WCF I will always be a representative for the royal court and Sweden, I won't abandon that, she emphasized.
