On Sunday 21 August, the Queen attended a regatta for the benefit of the World Childhood Foundation, hosted during the World Championships in Dragon Sailing in Germany. In attendance were also Princess Barbara zu Schleswig Holstein, Prinz Alexander zu Schleswig-Holstein, Schleswig-Holstein's Minister President Peter Harry Carstensen, and the Queen's brother Jörg Sommerlath. The next two weeks the queen visit Brasil for her World Childhood Foundation.
I hope, we will see nice pictures from her visit (as November 2003).

This and next week the queen visit Brasil for her World Childhood Foundation. Unfortunately we haven't see pictures of this travel. At the year 2003 we have see many pictures of the visit of any projects, Gala and press-meeting.
Is by this trip the photograher Charles Hammersten travel along with the queen?

Just watched a report on TV (BRISANT) on this visit. 2 Swedish-German children greeted the Queen and gave her flowers. They seemed like "frozen"...well, who wouldn´t in this situation

It is funny, the king travel with the queen for her World childhood Foundation! They look happy by the visit/holiday.

Thank you indeed for all these pictures, it's great to see the Queen so happy and charming, she looked great! Nice to see that the King wasn't left out, but could go with her (he wasn't mentioned in the calendar). If anyone has access to Zuma, I wouldn't mind seeing those pictures either

Probably to their summer villa at the riviera, Villa Mirage in St Maxime, France. And of course Solliden on the island of Öland in Sweden, their summer paradise. Those two are given, but they could always take a longer trip as well, we'll have to wait and see if we get any info or pics.

As mentioned before, Queen Silvia has been involved greatly with the World Childhood Foundation. The starting gun was simply used to gave the start signal for the 'Childhood Charity Race' at the 'Kieler Foerde', where the proceed from the boat race will be donated to the World CHildhood Foundation.

Thanks for posting the calendar, Grandduchess! I'm happy to see that Madeleine will be present with her mother and father. It's nice to see that her upcoming internship with the World Childhood Foundation has already made an official event for her.
