Best Royal Web Site.

The best royal web site is the British Royal Family's web site (www.royal.gov.uk). It is always updated and up-to-date.The web master at Buckingham Palace is doing a good job.

I miss a section about the collections At the counts. Jewllery or fine china.

It could be fun with a new poll.

The court is changing their website. At the swedish calendar has been written as participants "Konung Carl XVI Gustaf, Drottning Silvia", now there is only "Kungen, Drottningen"

Now the names don't match the labels and so the King and Queens calender pages are empty
H.M. Konung Carl XVI Gustaf - Sveriges Kungahus [NS4 version]
H.M. Drottning Silvia - Sveriges Kungahus [NS4 version]

The same is being done for Princess Victoria's calender listing; she is now listed as 'Kronprinsessan'-The Crown Princess...and so her calender is also empty since her listed name doesnt match the label
H.K.H. Kronprinsessan Victoria - Sveriges Kungahus [NS4 version]

Are they total amateurs at the court? They should have tried first before they changed the calendar. It is still not fixed. It is really irritating that you can't search their work duties if you don't look at the whole calendar.

Yeah this really didn't work out the way they wanted it......they should've known this would happen when labels and names don't match....the least they could do was acces the site from a non administrator computer to see how the changes worked

Well, now they have renewed the search at the calendar and it is much more complicated than before...

Perhaps it is because she is not a working royal? Of course, the king's young grandchildren are not working royals, but as members of the royal house they are/were expected to be.

I understand that she isn't a working royal but a page with a biography would underscore her status as member of the royal house. Now she is a member of the royal house but treated as a member of the royal family.

This only stresses my point. She does not have her own page included in the menu like all other members of the royal house but is treated as all other members of the royal family (for example, her sisters who are NOT members of the royal house) by being grouped into the 'Bernadotte dynasty' category.

The website is consistent insofar as working royals and those expected to eventually be working royals have their own biography pages, while the others do not. If there is an inconsistency, it is the fact that Princess Birgitta who has not been a working royal following her marriage (I am not sure if she was before) remains a member of the royal house, while Princess Christina who was a working royal for many decades is only a member of the royal family. However, that is somewhat comprehensible from the historical point of view.

I agree. The inconsistency seems to be in the categorization itself - and is mainly a historic anomaly (nonetheless, I still think including her page would at least do justice to her official status). Although Madeleine can hardly be considered a 'working royal' these days.

Certainly, it's a bit weird. As Princess Birgitta is considered part of the Royal House. But maybe the tabs available are just for the King's children and Victoria's family.

Princess Birgitta is a member of the Royal House, but she is a private person like her three sisters.
