That sounds neat. I wonder what the theme will be about this year.

" a pearl embroidered light green tulle dress"
I hope it´s nothing like the pantsuit that Princess Claire wore a while back.:)

Yes me too, as she tends to be the one to ruffle some feathers with her choice of attire! I like the colors of CP Victoria's dress, and Princess Lillians! Bright, vibrant.
It seems illness is abound on this day as CP Mette Marit missed in Norway due to illness.

Yes, don´t look too directly into Lilian´s dress. The dress that Silvia is wearing reminds me of the one that she wore in the US in 2001, I think it was. Same type if I remember correctly.

Lilian´s dress does not look new. Silvia´s does look recycled though.

I was going to mention that I thought the tiara looked newer, that I hadn't seen Victoria wear it before (but then I don't follow the Swedes quite as closely as I follow others), but I hadn't really seen it up close enough to decide. It's pretty...better then the circles one anyway!

Victoria looked sick. I hope she´s okay. I hate to think that she is not feeling well.

I agree Lena-it's a very pretty dress, but it does look very much like what any American teenage girl would wear to prom. Maybe there is more to it that we just aren't seeing at the moment.

I agree about the prom dress-look. And I really don't like wearing the hair down with a tiara. It's too informal IMO. But at least it's not a ponytail, right? :) I do think Victoria looks nice though. The dress is different for her which is nice. I wish we could see a picture of what Madeleine was going to wear! And Carl-Philip looks great with shorter hair

I wasn't saying Victoria looked bad, as I think she looks wonderful, I was just stating that I think the dress itself, from what we can see of it, looks very much like a dress any American teenage girl could get and wear.
Silivia's dress is rather boring.

I had to turn off the live video. The speeches were too much for me this early in the morning! I'll have to come back later to look at the pics.

I agree with Britters exactly. I think Victoria looks lovely. I was just hoping to see her in something more "grown up"
