The Riksdagssupé might take place on October 25th, I see that the entire Palace is closed that date and some of the State Apartments some time before that. But we'll see...

King Carl Gustaf held on Thursday a diplomatic reception to newly arrived ambassadors with their significant others from Thailand, Peru, Belarus and Chile.
Victoria and Daniel attended also at the reception.

At the meeting the king delivered the awards Årets Miljöhjälte (The Environmental Hero of the Year) in three categories:
Biodiversity, to Angarngruppen
Climate, to Pär Holmgren
Young Environmental Hero, to Luca Berardi
And "Årets Pandabok" (The Panda Book of the Year) to "Under Afrikas Himlar" by photographer and author Brutus Östling.

What a memorable day it has been! Truly unforgettable. King Carl Gustaf, Victoria and Estelle visited the National Museum previously on this week.
On Saturday, October 13, the King reinaugurates the National Museum in Stockholm, which has been closed and refurbished since 2013. Earlier this week, the King, the Crown Princess and Princess Estelle received the opportunity to visit the museum.
At the National Museum there are several thousand objects, many of which come from former kings' collections. The oldest works can be traced to Gustav Vasa's time in the 16th century. By the middle of the 18th century, the royal art collections reached world class, thanks to Queen Lovisa Ulrika and Carl Gustaf Tessin. The ambitions grew further with King Gustav III.

The King, the Crown Princess and Princess Estelle study Elias Martin's oil painting, where Gustav III's second son Karl Gustav, Duke of Småland, was christened in 1782 in the Royal Chapel. The king, the Crown Princess and Princess Estelle are all baptized in the same church.

Princess Estelle's exciting day with Victoria and the King

Hand in hand, the King, Crown Princess and Princess Estelle go down to the National Museum stairs.
Together they have received an exclusive tour of the museum's treasures which, on Saturday, for the first time in five years, are to be displayed to the public.
- It was a very enjoyable day and it was highly appreciated by all three generations, said Margareta Thorgren, director of the press department.
Since 2013, the National Museum in Stockholm has been closed for renovation, but on Saturday, the gates will open again to the museum.
Already earlier this week, the king, Crown Princess and Princess Estelle received a preview of the museum.
- It was nice that our current head of state and the future heads of state together could have the new museum presented to them, said Margareta Thorgren.
On Saturday there is the big opening ceremony where both the royal couple and the Crown Princess couple will attend. The public also has the opportunity to participate.
- The new inauguration of the National Museum is very big. The king will hold an opening speech. It is also very important for Sweden as a whole in terms of Swedish culture and the amazing national treasures in the museum. It is something that the royal family also wants to highlight, says Margareta Thorgren.

Before the King reinaugurated the museum he said, among other things:
"From my office on the other side of the water, I have been able to follow the five-year refurbishment with interest. And I really look forward to seeing the results - even from the inside."
After that, the royal couple and the crown princess couple, together with minister Alice Bah Kuhnke and the superintendent, received a tour led by Magnus Olausson, Head of the Department for Collections and Research.

King Carl Gustaf, crown princess Victoria, prince Daniel, prince Carl Philip, princess Sofia and princess Christina attended at an assembly evening at the Royal Palace on Tuesday evening.
The Royal Court Parish is a parish within the Swedish Church whose members consist of the Royal Family, those who have or have had an employment at the Royal Court or at the King's Military Staff and their families. The Royal Chapel is the church for the around 500 members.
Twice a year, the member of the Royal Court Parish are invited to the assembly evening in the Bernadotte Library, where the royal couple or parts of the royal family regularly attend and host. On these occasions, a lecture is always held on some actual subject.

We may soon see the king and Victoria at Skiftelskonselj, and have a date for Riksdagssupé, at least we can hope so:

The Speaker will present a proposal to the Riksdag for a candidate for prime minister on 12 November. The Speaker's proposal will be Ulf Kristersson (Moderate Party).
The proposal for a new prime minister will be presented and tabled in the Chamber at 10.30 a.m. on 12 November. The proposal will be tabled again on 13 November. The proposal will then be put to the vote in the Riksdag on 14 November at 9 a.m.
If the proposal for a new prime minister is approved, the prime minister will, as soon as possible, inform the Riksdag of the names of the other ministers. This can be done on 15 November at the earliest. A Council of State (Skifteskonselj) will then be held.

The proposal of Ulf Kristersson as new Prime Minister was today voted down in the Riksdag, thus no Skifteskonselj (Council of State). The result was awaited , and the process to form a new Government continues.

I don't know if they will wait with a Riksdagssupé until a new Government is in place or not, however the entire Palace is closed on 5 December, which indicates a major event. A regular Official dinner don't require to close all Apartments.

And 5 Decemberis removed from the closing schedule. So very likely a Riksdagssupé was planned for that date
