The event was sold out, there were 4,500 people in the audience. Victoria, Daniel and Estelle were in the VIP area and applauded in the songs.

Daniel plays at Victoriagolfen at Ekerum Resort today, as he has every year since 2012.
Öland offers 23 degrees and sun and Daniel, wearing a sporty cap and polo shirt, is in a happy mood. Victoria Golf has become a pleasant tradition that both the media and private individuals follow and the course is just a few minutes from the royal family's summer palace.

Svensk Damtidning met Daniel after his last putt on the legendary Långe Jan, an 18-hole course at Ekerum Resort. And he was pep! Both for the golf and Victoria's birthday tomorrow.
Is the prince happy with the round?
- Yes, fairly satisfied! It was fun to play. And it was actually the season premiere, I have not played any golf earlier this year so it was low expectations ... But it went pretty well.
And you have been out for a long time!
- Yes, six hours.
Daniel said that tomorrow morning they will celebrate Victoria, and they look forward to it, but it is private.
Svensk Damtidning asked if there would be any suprise? And Daniel said that yes, usually he tries to have some surprise at least. So again this year.
And the cake? Is it the prince who baked it?

Daniel skipped the fine lunch at the golf club. His teammates in Team Öland (TV host Peter Jihde, Mr Victoria Day Stephan Rimér and club manager Magnus Lagerlöf) had lunch without royal company, because Daniel had to hurry home for the children, and for tomorrow's Birthday Girl: Crown Princess Victoria, very soon 45.

Victoriagolfen is a golf competition that takes place annually at Ekerum Resort Öland. The participants consist of companies that compete in teams and raise funds for Crown Princess Victoria's Fund through various challenges around the track. After the competition, it is time for the "second chance", where participants are given the opportunity to measure their strengths in front of an audience and challenge their colleagues in a golf challenge.

This evening at 20.00 is again a Solliden Sessions concert. Jill Johnson is the artist today.
Jill Johnson and her fiancé Mattias Elg (they got engaged a couple of months ago) got a guided tour at Solliden Palace Park. Mattias writes that he met also the king.

Damtidning tells that it is Victoria who is the royal family's great country fanatic - she danced on her chair almost the entire concert!

Nice that Prince Daniel went to sit by his wife's side after Pss Estelle left. I never understood why they keep putting him on the 2nd row. No other RF does that to the spouse of the heir.
 
It wasn't so long ago that they put out a statement denying rumors of marital discord. Routinely seating them separately will not help matters.

At Solliden Sessions the artist this evening is Niklas Strömstedt.
At Borgholm Castle Ruins is Molly Sandén's concert. Molly sang at Carl Philip and Sofia's wedding and has performed also at Project Playground's events.

Carl Philip, Sofia, Estelle and Patrick, Léopold, Chloë and Anaïs Sommerlath were this evening at Molly Sandén's concert at Borgholm Castle ruins.
Chloë and Anaïs have today their 14th birthday. The warm-up band at the concert was Tove Styrke, who sang yesterday at Victoria Concert.

Patrick's son Léopold has moved also to Drottningholm to the Sjöflygeln house where is father lives.

Yesterday was The Ark's Reunion Tour's concert at Borgholm Castle. It was sold out and today is their second concert. It might be that the royal family isn't interested in their music. On 21st July at Borgholm Castle is Tomas Ledin's concert. He is one of the royal family's favourite artists. Next Solliden Sessions concert is on Wednesday 20th.

So, they were listening to Niklas Strömstedt, who had with him Marika Willstedt and some acoustic guitars, a piano and a cello. The King's and Victoria's aide-de-camps get to a lot of concerts too.
Estelle and the Sommerlath family wanted to hear pop music queen Molly Sandén. Carl Philip and Sofia of course were at Molly's concert, since Molly is their friend.
It seems that the photographers of TT and SPA were only at Molly's concert and we don't get much photos of Niklas Strömstedt's concert.

Queen Silvia was seen on 1st July at La Patrona Sportbar & Restaurang in Åtvidaberg. The owner of the Restaurant posted a photo to his Facebook on 2nd July "Yesterday we had an unexpected visit to the restaurant".

Hänt Magazine contacted the court with the question of whether there will be a photo of the royal family soon, and it became clear that it is not a matter of course.
“It has varied over the years whether photos are taken at Solliden or not. I do not know if such a photo is planned to be taken this year", information officer Ulrika Näslund answered.

Victoria and Daniel were yesterday evening at Bo Kaspers Orkester's concert at Solliden Sessions. They arrived with their friends, Patrik and Camilla Vrbanc. They seemed to have a really nice evening together as they enjoyed the music.

The hill was full, the prince and the crown princess were there, Bo Kaspers Orkester offered a nice performance on the summer evening.
Bo Sundström himself was in a particularly playful mood, which was appreciated not least by Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel.

The swedish press has written a lot about Chris not attending Victoria's birthday.
Expressen writes that a little over a week after Victoria's birthday, Chris is back on Swedish soil - at least according to what the director of the court's press department can guess.
- I would think he is, says Margareta Thorgren.
Thorgren said that Madeleine and her family are in Sweden now and usually go home around the start of school and it is a bit into August.
What does the rest of the summer look like for the royal family?
- The rest of July is vacation for the royal family. They are on Öland a lot. The king and queen will do two things at the beginning of August.
The royal couple will visit a fishing company and the scout movement's national festival Jamboree22, both in Kristianstad, before things return to normal for members of the royal family.

Svensk Damtidning writes that music in particular seems to be a theme for the royal family during the summers on Öland. Many of them love going to concerts.

Svensk Damtidning writes about the concert evening. The family was also accompanied by their close family friends.
Patrik Vrbanc, 50, is one of Daniel's closest friends. He also had his wife and two children with him.
Patrik was the person seen by Daniel's side during the years of the early 2000s, when he had just met Victoria and the press started chasing him.
(Daniel founded Master Training with Patrik Vrbanc and Lars Hellström in 2004).
Patrik and his wife were also of course two of the guests of honor at Victoria and Daniel's wedding in 2010, and they were also on the couple's engagement trip in Brazil the year before. Patrik was also at Victoria Golf in 2017, where he played with Daniel and Peter "Foppa" Forsberg.

About the fashion style at the concerts
Victoria's concert style is also very consistent – at concerts this summer, she has chosen romantic, floral dresses of a slightly cooler cut. Victoria gets extra plus for the denim jacket which is perfect for a concert night,
Over time, Daniel's style has gone from the sporty wardrobe to an increasingly dressy and clean one - as he has moved more and more into the role of prince and businessman. At Bo Kaspers Orkester's concert he came in a well-ironed shirt and trousers and when Hov1 played he wore a dressy, elegant jacket.

Daniel, Estelle and Sofia were yesterday evening at Veronica Maggio & Mares Band's concert at Borgholm Castle ruins. With them they had Patrick Sommerlath with his daughters Chloë and Anaïs and Daniel's friend, olympic and world champion, former NHL ice hockey star Mats Sundin with his family.
When the audience saw Estelle and Daniel up on the VIP balcony, they were met with cheers and of course the crowd waved to the royals! Estelle and Daniel happily waved back.

This time Daniel had an old friend with him. And that friend isn't just anyone.
For those interested in sports, there are perhaps no question marks. Because the friend is one of Sweden's best ice hockey players of all time, Mats Sundin. He has a solid career behind him. He has played 1346 games in the world's best ice hockey league, the NHL. He also has three WC golds and one Olympic gold. Together with his wife Josephine, the couple are good friends with the Crown Princess couple. Daniel has a great interest in sports and of course shares this with Mats Sundin. They have been seen playing golf together and in 2018 a charity match was played in Ockelbo where Daniel participated together with Mats Sundin.

From yesterday's Enthusiast Vehicle Exhibition
The seventh edition of the event at Solliden offered the best conditions. Warm weather, plenty of space to stroll among the 500 more or less spectacular vehicles, from mopeds and A-tractors to shiny Bentleys, rusty pickups and English mustangs.
The day ended with a royal award ceremony in six different classes as well as the big Solliden trophy. It went to P-G Tälth from Eksjö with the extreme build Windviper, which has been named Sweden's most beautiful car. It originated from a Chrysler Windsor -46 and was inspired by the French luxury brand Delahaye.
The King and Queen Silvia had gone around and inspected both it and many other teams, and the King thought that the Solliden trophy could not have gone to a better recipient.
- This is a damn nice arrangement for which Ulf Olsson and his officials should have all the appreciation, says the King when he rounds off the day.

It's a nice thought that even though they could afford it..the King and Queen (who looks incredible) have a simple and humble boat and not some luxurious yacht Ala the Dutch King.

Yesterday the police received an alarm about a shooting in the center of Ockelbo. A man, born -90, was shot in connection with leaving a pizzeria. He was taken to hospital with unclear injuries and underwent surgery, but the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Hänt Magazine writes that according to information in social media, the Crown Princess couple was in Ockelbo yesterday.
When Hänt Magazine contacts the court to ask if it is true that the crown princess couple were in Ockelbo on Sunday and how they are doing, Margareta Thorgren answers: "Everyone is fine", she writes in a text message to Hänt.

The king is definitely a car guy! It's nice to see him so enthused and relaxed.
 
Margareta Thogren confirmed to Svensk Damtidning that Victoria and Daniel were on Sunday in Ockelbo when the shooting took place.
- Yes, they were in the area. However, not close to the shooting.
Margareta Thorgren does not want to say anything about the family's reaction to what happened in their immediate vicinity.
Victoria and Daniel have always felt safe in Ockelbo. Loyalty is great and the family moves a lot out in the community with the children, although of course accompanied by their SÄPO guards.
The distance between the Westling family's house and the pizzeria where the man was shot is also not great, it is only five minutes by car between the addresses. The pizzeria is known for its royal pizza, named after the area's famous son, Prince Daniel.

As many as 500 more or less spectacular vehicles were lined up in the English park, from slick sports cars to freshly polished Bentleys and an old driving school car from the 1950s.
The royal couple swarmed with the 3,000 visitors.
After the award ceremony, several of the cars then drove in a procession through Borgholm, led by the royal couple in the King's grey-white Shelby 350 GT, to the great happiness of a tourist lady who, according to Ölandsbladet, could not believe her eyes:

Svensk Damtidning writes that they have got information that Victoria and Daniel were at Lars Winnerbäck's concert in Uppsala on Wednesday with Daniel's sister Anna Westling Söderström and her husband Mikael.

When Victoria and Daniel attended at Lars Winnerbäck's concert with Anna and Mikael Westling Söderström on 10th August, they stopped also Pedalling Pizza Palace (A pizza oven on wheels that serves fresh pizza all around Uppsala). Pedalling Pizza Palace published a photo with Victoria with the owners at its Facebook:
"We ran into the royalist woman, THE CROWN PRINCESS HERSELF!!
Really lucky that Vickan stopped by, but she didn't get a pizza due to gluten intolerance.
With that, we have learned our lesson, ALWAYS use gluten-free dough.
Apparently celebrities are moving around Uppsala, time to behave..."

They clearly do love attending concerts. It seems that's their main activity in summer.
