Is this the fashion in Sweden for guys? Jonas and Daniel both have longer hair too and they also seem to put a lot of gel in it (esp. Daniel).

I found two short articles about the purposes behind this visit to Sweden that the President of Bulgaria is making. Thought I would post them for anyone that might be interested.

Bulgaria: President Parvanov: Bulgaria-Sweden Economic Relations Lag Behind
Bulgaria: Bulgaria's President, Sweden's Princess Open Business Forum in Stockholm

p.s. thanks for all the pics fanletizia!

Yesterday evening the Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov and his wife Mrs Zorka Parvanova gave a concert and reception at the Stockholm Concert Hall, in honour of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden. Crown princess Victoria was also present.

Thanks to all for posting the information and lovely pictures of the state visit.

Yesterday the guests visit Vasa-Museum and today the president visit Uppsala and Enköping.
Did the royal couple accompany the guests by this visits?

Uppsala Nya Tidning's articles "Presidentbesök i Uppsala" and "Presidentbesök i Enköping" doesn't mention any royals and they were not mentioned in the County Administrative Board's press information about the visit.

That the King, Queen and Crown Princess attended events of the state visit during two days is a lot already, plus Prince Carl Philip and Princess Madeleine on the first day's gala banquet. They usually don't attend all three days of activities, there's always a big part of the schedule that is only for the visiting head of state and entourage (most of it political meetings, but this time they scheduled a lot of that for the President on the first day).

About the visit to the Vasa Museum and The Museum of National Antiquities, I guess they may have wanted a little break to prepare for the evening's concert and reception... Just a guess though, maybe the King had some office work to do as well. And the Vasa Museum is really what the Munk Museum is for Queen Sonja of Norway - King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia can probably give a tour of it in their sleep by now

GrandDuchess, thanks for your information about the visits.

I think the king and queen hasn't no other official events (mentioned on the calendar of royalcourt) within this times and so they can accompany the guests!

It's pitty for us to see no pictures from visit the Prins Eugen Waldemarsudde by the queen and Mrs. Parvanova!

the City Hall seems amazing. I love when nordic royals receive visits from abroad, it's always great to see their palaces, houses, places where they meet people.
