OK. So CPV is wearing her mini portrait of the king but what is the badge or medal below that order? Love the queen's dress. Victoria's is looking good from the top.

President Essebsi is one of the oldest Head of States in the world, he has his 89th birthday on 29th November.

I saw that as well. I just assumed it was some order from Tunisia... but I might be wrong!

I assume the same. The ribbon has the same colour as the Tunisian order worn by the King. The Crown Princess wears the Swedish order of the Serafin, so I think she received a secondary order from Tunisia which comes in the form of this bow.

Kungahuset has a group shot. Silvia & Vickan are both wearing recycled gowns. I'm pretty sure Vickan is wearing the one Maddies wore in 2013.

Yes, it is the dress Madeleine wore at the solemn gathering of the Swedish Academy on 20th December 2013.

Probably it is the same Order then the King has but in another grade where one doesn't get a sash. But it seems they have given the Queen another Order.

I think it is commendable that the three Royal ladies recycle their clothes and share between them.

Obviously the First Lady has some trouble in her walking or balance, photos of the queen and First Lady from the Palace courtyard:

That is what I figured, since they're rather elderly. But very sweet none the less. Because you can hold and help in very different ways and this is the sweet way and not the "walking cane" way :P

The photos bring back memories of Queen S helping Princess Lilian in her later years.

strange that sofia isn't present, and if she is away that her trip doesn't figure in the official agenda?

She's in South Africa to celebrate Project Playground's 5th anniversary. While the Court's website often are late when posting engagements since she's on a private journey it might not be posted at all.

No I don't think so and I didn't see her name on the guest list.
