Finland's First Lady looks magnificent (a truly beautiful lady), but I absolutely love what Queen Silvia is wearing.
That particular share of green has always been my favourite, the tiara is gorgeous and the overall look - just lovely.

It makes me think about beauty competitions... To me it isn't so regal as the other swedish royal tiaras.

Too often recently. She has now worn it 3 times in a row. And even always the same necklace.

Jenni Haukio couldn't have had a better hostess for her first state visit. Queen Silvia was very warm to her guest. The chemistry between the queen and Jenni Haukio seemed to be very good. "Everything has gone very well", said Jenni Haukio to Rita Tainola, the reporter of IS in the front of the Moderna Museet. Jenni Haukio was very active at the museum, she spoke a very good swedish and made a lot of questions of the art and made also comments of it. "This has been very interesting", said Haukio, when she and the queen arrived to Hyper Island, a training center for digital media. At the center both the queen and Haukio made many questions. Since some of the students are english, Haukio discussed with them with a superb english. Tainola writes that sometimes Jenni Haukio seemed to be a little nervous, which is quite understandable, since this is her first big international event as the First Lady.
Queen Silvia was very elegant, when she arrived to the dinner, and the midnight blue dress suited Jenni Haukio very well. The king was very sympathetic when he lead his guests to the photographers. President Niinistö seemed to be on a very good mood. The handsome princes Daniel and Carl Philip made the cameras work very effectively. "Hello, how are you?", Daniel asked from Tainola (Tainola has followed Victoria the whole of her life, been with her in many of her international visits, Tainola and Victoria have been training at the gyms of the hotels many times together. While Victoria and Daniel were in Finland, Tainola told Daniel about following Victoria for so long and Daniel was astonished).
Jenny Alexandersson, the royal reporter of Aftonbladet, praised the beauty of Jenni Haukio to Rita Tainola. Jenny A. was very taken with the blue suit of Haukio. "I think that Jenni Haukio is a very beautiful woman with a lot of flair and fashion sense. The suit she wore when she arrived to Sweden can compete with any outfit of a princess", said Jenny. About the evening dress of Haukio Jenny said: "The dress is beautiful and stylish in it's simplicity. I just hope that she would have used more jewelry. Jenni Haukio has given a very fine impression of herself during this first day. Many of my readers have sent praising messages of her to me".

Daniel was very easygoing and a good mood when he was waiting for the president. He greeted the media friendly and looked straight in the eye. At the dinner one of the guardian soldiers fainted during the arrivals, he was moved quickly away for a rest. Jenni Haukio had a very trendy lace dress, she had a shy smile on her face.
