I love these pics as well. Man, does Victoria have charisma or what? Pic 2 is great and I love seeing the King show so much emotion that's what was missing from the previous pics. What daughter hasn't covered her ears while her dad screams and becomes slightly embarassing?

This is great seeing the Royal Family like this! Just like any other normal person, this is what makes me like the Swedish Royal Family so much, they are not afraid to let their personalities show and be seen to have fun. Much more relaxed than the British Royal Family.

I totally agree, its so nice to see royalty acting like just normal people because so many royal families are not like that.

Thank you, iceflower, for posting the very lovely pics of the King and Queen and Victoria in Are.
I totally agree with all of you. It is great to see the family behave so natural, having fun and showing their emotions.
By the way: I really love Victorias outfit!

Iceflower, thanks for the information and links to the nice pictures.

After the National team races was the closing ceremony. Who has seen pictures of this event and can give links to websites?

Hello iceflower,

Could you please let me know what or who this dinner was for? I'm curious why Queen Silvia and Crown Princess Victoria are wearing tiaras.

Thanks, Ayvee

Victoria looks nice. Don't care for that tiara on her anymore. She needs an upgrade for her 30th birthday.

^looks new. Its a pretty dress. I dislike that tiara so much though. Princesses older than 18 shouldn't be allowed to wear it

No, the dress isn't new! Victoria wear it on private married-party of her friends Marina Gahn and Johan Bonde in Lidingö in December 2006.

Love Victorias dress! quite daring also - showing lot of cleavage But i agree that she should never wear that tiara (should we call it that) again, she should leave it for her future daughter. Let´s hope that she has been digging in Silvias jewel safe for the Norwegian gala this weekend and might wear the connaugh tiara or possibly the amethyst tiara, we haven´t seen Victoria wear that one in a long time now.

This might sound weird but I'm glad its not a new dress. I was thinking that it would be less likely that she would wear a brand new dress at the Norway celebrations this weekend if this dress was brand new. But since it isn't I hope that the possibilities of her wearing a new dress this weekend went up.

Exactly right, Aurora. I too think this will increase the chance that she will wear a stunning, new dress in Norway. I also hope the queen and Madeleine will sport new dresses.

Talking Dress for Princess Madeleine

Who knows maybe Princess Madeleine has not yet decided if she is going to wear a new dress or not?! Perhaphs she will take a brand new one with her and an older one and decide on the spur or the moment?! I do like to be silly!
