I think that princess Lilian is too frail to go to Skansen.

We have same kind of national costumes in Finland, we have 97 different national costumes - 72 for women and 25 for men.
The royal family celebrated the national day on the Skansen open air museum:

Yeah I'm wondering the thing about the shoes. Now the outfits I figured it out. Its because the national colors are maize and blue, so they wear that to represent the whole country. I do agree that someone should wear the traditional outfits for the regions and maybe they could have the choirs do that.

Three years ago both Silvia and Madeleine wore different shoes than Victoria who wore the same as now.
