Victoria's best friend Caroline Kreuger Nilsson celebrated her Kreuger Jewellery's first anniversary yesterday.
- Kreuger Jewellery was not born in one night, it's many years of shaping of an idea I had with my father. And, this is just the beginning, said Caroline.
During the evening Caroline presented also some of her new innovations among other things, men's jewellery, a pair of stunning cufflinks of mokume and gold.

Caroline's father Björn Kreuger was one of the king's closest friends already from his childhood. Björn Kreuger died in 1999.

A big interview of Caroline Kreuger Nilsson at "Älskade Östermalm" (Beloved Östermalm).
Caroline tells that it was natural to her to take her husband's last name when she married Jesper Nilsson in 2007. She didn't like how people changed their attitude and behaviour when she presented herself as Caroline Kreuger. So in private life she is Caroline Nilsson and at work with her jewellery Caroline Kreuger. Caroline tells also that her famous butterfly wasn't a butterfly first but a "K". But obviously she wasn't very good in drawing, because her daughter said to her that she had been drawing an awful lot of butterflies... The article refers to that Caroline is Victoria's best friend and that Victoria wears her jewellery often. Caroline says that she doesn't loan her jewellery. Those people who wear her jewellery have bought them. Caroline tells that she has worn all her jewellery before she puts it to production and on sale. She wants to be sure that people can wear her jewellery at least 24 hours without getting pain of them. Her customers are between 30 years and 79 years. Some people think that this is a hobby for her, but it isn't. Her jewellery must pay all the costs. She prepares some of her jewellery herself. With her works goldsmith George Haddad. She promotes her jewellery herself and sales them herself. She sold her jewellery six months at NK and at the Christmas Eve she was there and sold them.

The 7-episode TV-program of Bathina Philipson, the wife of king's friend Aje Philipson, has started on SVT: "Bathinas skilda världar" (Bathina's different worlds).
Bathina hears often that her life is like a Cinderella story. And maybe it's not so strange. Bathina's parents are from Syria, she has eight siblings and her life began in the suburb. She became renowned when she met Aje Philipson, one of the king's best friends, and married him in 2004. They have an age difference of 35 years. They have three children and live in an apartment in central Stockholm.

Daniel's and Victoria's friend, the two-time olympic champion and former NHL-hockey star Peter Forsberg will take part at SVT's this seasons TV-program Mästarnas mästare (The Champion of Champions), where top Swedish athletes compete in physical and dexterity competitions. The program will be recorded in the autumn and shown in SVT next spring.

After he ended his hockey career, Forsberg graduated with Management Diploma for Athletes, MDA, at Cruyff Institute for Sport Studies in cooperation with IFL and the Stockholm School of Economics. He is involved in many companies and works as the deputy general manager of MoDo. He does a lot of charity, together with other players Forsberg founded Icebreakers, their purpose is to raise money for a foundation who give scholarships to handicapped or otherwise needy children.

This summer Forsberg and his partner Nicole Nordin have launched a new business, brazilian Ipanema flip flop sandals to Sweden.

Mittuniverstitet (Mid Sweden University) tells on 18th August at the press release, that Peter Forsberg will become a honorary doctor on October 9th in Sundsvall at the university's annual meeting.
Only a few Swedish athletes have had such a successful career as Peter "Foppa" Forsberg. With the World Championships, Olympic gold medals and the Stanley cup titles he has won three of the main categories in the world. He has also contributed to the region's sports as a leader in Modo Hockey and as an entrepreneur through investments in sports arenas in the region and as the founder of the charitable foundation Icebreakers. Through his tremendous drive and commitment to contribute to team success and to develop as a professional individual, he is a strong role model for many. He has also increased international awareness of the region in which the university operates. Peter Forsberg is appointed honorary doctor of his overall initiatives as an athlete and for his contributions to the region's development.

Yesterday evening magazine Damernas Värld organized their annual Guldknappen gala. Guldknappen is a prize given to a swedish fashion designer to promote swedish clothing design.

Daniel's and Victoria's friend Peter Forsberg got his honorary degree on Friday when he was named as a honorary doctor of the Faculty of Human Sciences at Mittuniversitetet (Mid Sweden University) in Sundsvall at the university's annual formal meeting.

Part of the honorary degree was that he held a lecture at the University on Thursday.

Yesterday was the official launch of furniture "Furniturebox by Andrea" designed by Andrea Brodin. Andrea wore a Gucci dress a little similar to what Sofia wore at the christening.

Daniel's and Victoria's friend, former NHL hockey star Peter Forsberg is right now playing double match in tennis in Helsinki with Roger Federer, against Jarkko Nieminen and Teemu Selänne.
This evening, the best finnish tennis player ever, Jarkko Nieminen ends his career with a friendly exhibition match against Roger Federer at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki. Nieminen and Federer (both born in 1981) are very good friends and played against each other and practiced together in tennis tournaments since 1998. Nieminen's dream was to end his career in a match against Federer in Finland and he asked his friend Federer if that would be possible. And although Federer is a very busy man, he said that of course he will do it. The best finnish hockey player ever Teemu Selänne loves to play tennis and he is a friend of Nieminen, so it was decided that there would be a fun double match too, and Peter Forsberg was chosen to play with Federer.

At the press conference this afternoon, Forsberg said: I am a terrible tennis player. Maybe we will see Roger sweat for the first time during the match.

Jarkko Nieminen told in June to the press that he is going to retire in the end of this season. Jarkko and his wife Anu got their first child, a girl, in September.
Jarkko's retiring is a really big news here in Finland. He is by far the best tennis player ever in Finland and it will take some years to get another one at his level.

About this fun double match, it was a match of one set, and Jarkko Nieminen/Teemu Selänne won Roger Federer/Peter Forsberg 6-3.
I hope that we will get some video clips. This match and Jarkko's and Roger's match are shown only in Finland, and even here we have to pay to see it (I didn't pay).
After the double match Roger gave Jarkko a coffee maker, as a father of two set of twins he thought that Jarkko may need some coffee when his little daughter keeps him awake during the nights.

Here is a short clip, I hope that this is seen also abroad. When Federer is going to serve, Nieminen raised his hand and the audience shouted and Federer got "scared". The players had microphones when they played and some jokes were shared during the match.

Andrea Brodin was on Thursday evening at the biggest shopping center in Sweden - Mall of Scandinavia in Solna. The center was inaugurated yesterday. Andrea was at RoyalDesign.se shop with her by Andrea Brodin-products. But she also tested some clothes, like a lace dress.
