Jaime strikes again with the very ugly green slacks, are they a winter trend for him or something? I remember saw him wearing them in Soria a couple of christmas ago
Ewwww

Yes, that's it... The article doesn't textually say "wear skis", but that was the best way I could translate it (you already know me a bit, to see that my English is not the best... ). Anyway, the idea was that this is the first time, since the stroke (December 2001), that Jaime was seen skiing in Baqueira Beret.

Why do they make the photos from day to day events so small now?
i prefer the old way of displaying photos.

Such cute photos! I can see that little Miguel was sat on the shoulders of Pedro Lopez Quesada (husband of Cristina de Borbón Dos-Sicilias and godparent of Irene), so it means the couple also was in Baqueira Beret with the Infantas...

Yes, Cristina de Borbón Dos Sicilias and her family also were there. Also they were with them in Madrid in the circus. And I am thinking about remembering that last year or two years ago Cristina and her husband also were with the Princes skiing. She looks like one more sister, the Royal Family has a very nearby relation with everything. All the brothers Borbón Dos Sicilias are joined to the Prince and the Infantas, especially Cristina because she is the one that lives in Spain.
It seems that there is very good relation between cousins, the Borbón and Greece, Borbón Dos Sicilias, Gómez Acebo Borbón, Zurita Borbón and the Bulgarian Princes have good enough relation between them. Besides family, they are good friends.

Pablo looks so much like Cristina, he's said to be the most "Borbon" of all the Kings' grandchildren

Do you mean in physical resemblance to the Borbon side of his family or personality wise?
I have seen pictures of the King as a child and he and Pablo indeed look very much alike. But I am unfamiliar with Pablo's personality.

I'm talking about physical resemblance, if you read my post carefully, you would notice that I wrote "Pablo looks so much like Cristina"

The Kings, accompanied by Prince de Asturias, presided over the traditional credited reception to the diplomatic body in Spain, in the occasion of the New Year, whom also they attended the president of the Government, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, and the minister of Outer Subjects, Miguel Moratinos Angel.
In its speech, Don Juan Carlos announced the east creation year of the House of Africa to harness the political, economic projection and of solidarity of Spain towards that continent and, agreeing with the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Spain and Israel, the one of the Sefarad House.

Offered in the Real Palace of Madrid by Their Majestys the Kings and HRH Prince of Asturias
Their Majestys the Kings and HRH Prince de Asturias have offered in the Real Palace of Madrid the traditional reception to the credited Diplomatic Corps in Spain.
After arriving at the Real Palace, the Kings and the Prince went to the Saleta de Gasparini, where they were saluted by the president of the Government, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, and the minister of Outer Subjects and Cooperation, Miguel Angel Moratinos Cuyaubé, next to receive the greeting of the Diplomatic Body credited in Spain and the High Positions of the Ministry of Outer Subjects and Cooperation. Once finalized, they acceded to the Hall the Throne, where after the words of the Apostolic Nuncio of Santa Sede, Monsignor Manuel Monteiro de Castro - like dean of the credited Diplomatic Corps in Spain -,
His Majesty the King pronounced a speech, in which he remembered the most significant landmarks of the Spanish foreign policy of the last year, like the process of European integration, the Latin American Summit of Salamanca and the Euromediterránea Summit of Barcelona, and emphasized the next opening of the House of Africa, the Sefarad House and the Arab House.
The King emphasized the bet of Spain by an effective multilateral diplomacy and the importance of the paper of United Nations, showing that "only from the agreement and the understanding we will be able successfully to confront the exigencies derived from international La Paz and the security, the promotion of the democracy, the respect to the human rights, the fight against the poverty and the inequality, the combat against AIDS and other pandemics or the environmental deterioration".
Also, he made a review of the main lines of the foreign policy of our country, as the commitment of Spain in the fight against the terrorism, to guarantee international La Paz and security, and the reinforcing of the Spanish Cooperation. Later, the assistants conversed in the Hall Columns, with which he concluded the act.

Please remind that in two days there will be a Christening. I am sure Letizia has lots of things to prepare.
