King Juan Carlos, Queen Sofia and Prince Felipe visited today the Supreme Court, to preside over the commemorative act of the 25th Anniversary of the General Council of Judicial Power.
HM the King emphasized that "beyond the familiar joy" that constitutes the birth of his seventh granddaughter, Infanta Leonor, the first-born of the Princes of Asturias has a "dynastic and constitutional" importance for the "future continuity of the parliamentary Monarchy", as well as for its "permanent vocation of service to Spain and all the Spaniards".

Main Square in Madrid. This act is part of the yearly campaigns to collect funds for international non-profit asociation projects. Mayor of Madrid Alberto Ruiz Gallardon went to deposit the city hall donation and to greet the princess and the rest of the table participants.

Her husband Jaime Marichalar made a personal donation and was greeted by his wife the princess. Typical Spanish Student musical band called "tuna" went to participate and sing.

Its president Manuel Marin participated in the stand and make a donation.This act is part of the yearly campaigns to collect funds for international non-profit asociation projects. Queen Sofia greeted the donors one by one, got congratulations from the people getting by the table and collected some gifts for her new grand daughter Princess Leonor among them a doll dressed a a nurse.
