this is so sad...

spain has to deal with a lot of tragedies of this kind this year...

it a good thing that their monarchs don't hesitate to show in concreto their sympathies and support to the relatives of the deceased ones

I heard about this terrible tragedy and express my sympathy to the 17 military families. I have one question? Who was the widow and sergeant that was talked about and standing beside the King in uniform? Was this a widow of one of the military men killed and she was in the military with her husband? How awful for that poor woman!
I also noticed how big Letizia seems. Is the November date off a little? She looks like she is either having twins or the birthdate calculation is off?

Letizia's baby is due to the second half of November, but I won't be surprised if she gets a big belly, given the fact she's naturally thin and the royal family is full of big babies, many of them over 4 Kg (Laura&Bestrán's baby was 4,5 Kg...).

No doubt, this is the most difficult part of being a member of a Royal Family.
My sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the families and friends on this terrible tragedy. God Bless Them.
May they all rest in peace.

This sergeant is the widow of one of the deceased soldiers, she was also in Afghanistan.

On Letizia's belly, how Elsa has said normally the babies of the Borbones are big enough. The children of the Infantas have weighed more than 3,5 kilos and the children of the prims of the Prince more than 4.

My deepest condolence to the families of the killed men. It's so terrible and sad.

The Princes really had to go to many funerals in the last time. I agree that specially in such situations it's not always easy to be a member of a Royal family.
