The King is of vacations so he can be where he wants. Many politicians have had to leave his vacations to travel to Madrid after the accident.

As for the topic of the hunt, there are people to whom tastes and is people to whom not. But the parties more Spanish republicans whenever they discover that the King has been going to hunt pass one month criticizing him, in spite of the fact that he does it how private activity and in his free time. They raise hunts slightly terrible how, when in Spain the hunt also is allowed and many people who lives in the field hunt.

So the King left Mallorca to go to Botswana? And then had to come back from Botswana because of this terrible accident?

Why didn't we know he had gone to Africa?

It is an August, and therefore month of vacations in Spain. This trip is a trip of a private nature, and therefore it does not have to report of it.

I don't mind him going to Botswana on his vacation. I'm just surprised he did go, especially after all the fuss about Felipe and Letizia not spending their whole vacation in Mallorca. I was also suprised that no one commented that the king wasn't in Mallorca anymore.

(I have read Alexander McCall Smith's books and would love to go to Botswana, just not to hunt.)

It is that they criticize the Princes for everything, the poor cannot do anything. The critiques to the Princes went especially because to the press is interested very much this summer in the photos of pregnant Letizia, and they follow them at all hours.

The Royal Family has his center of vacations in Majorca, but they all take a few days to go away to other places. The Infanta Elena was out, and the Infanta Cristina returned to Barcelona a few days (with the baby and three children I me imagine that she could not go very far this year). But the Princes go away and there is drama.

I don't understand that, either. Maybe Letizia and Felipe would like to go to a different part of Spain; it is a beautiful country after all. (Who says you have to do the same vacation every year?)

It depends on what kind of animals he hunts and it does not matter whether it is his private time and his vacation.
Which animals are allowed to be hunt in Botswana, does anyone know?

Ramon Martínez Parada, the brother of the sniper of Ribeira's elite died in Afghanistan, lived through the yesterday day as the hardest of his life. As he assures, when the King approached to greet them in Getafe's naval base, " one saw him very moved, and he us affected to all ". Almost without believing himself it, as if he was in a cloud, Ramon Martínez was grateful for the fondness specially to don Juan Carlos with the one that attended to his mother, who always will remember the consolation that offered him in a moment as difficult as through that they are living.
