King Juan Carlos and Infanta Cristina in the delivery of Scholarships " The Caixa ". It was foreseen in the agenda that the Queen was coming to both acts today in Barcelona, but she has not done it.

Thanks so much for all the pictures Lula. Well maybe the Queen was tired and stayed at home resting. They've had such an extremely busy schedule the last couple of days! It's great Cristina was there to accompany her father though. Isn't the Caixa the bank Cristina works at?

According to Hola, the reason for Queen Sofia's absence is that she got hurt and is resting as recommended by her doctor.

I think it says it was her right shin that she injured.

The King and the Queen preside at a meeting with the members of the Patronage of Colleges of the United World and support a later Hearing with the scholars in the Palace of La Zarzuela

The Infante Don Carlos, as President of the Foundation, and Jaime de Marichalar, Duke of Lugo as member of the Foundation Winterthur, came also to the act.

The King has remembered to the military and civilian victims of the “execrable terrorist barbarism”, “with special emotion” to the councilman of the PP Miguel Angel Blanco, died 10 years ago in a “very cruel and cowardly murder” of ETA.

Don Juan Carlos, accompanied by Prince de Asturias, presided over the commemorative acts of military character of the 30 anniversary of the creation of the Ministry of Defense.

The Queen Sofia and the Dukes of Lugo visit the Infanta Cristina in Barcelona.

It is a bit strange visit. I have just seen it, and in the television they said that it was yesterday, when the Queen was in the morning in Palma, and there was neither any act nor family celebration.

It was said that The Queen was in Palma yesterday. I thought it starnge that we didn't get any photos of her. Well, perhaps we still will.

In the video, I noticed that Cristina curtsied to her mother, does she usually do that on private visits?

Yes, the Queen was yesterday in the Fortuna with her sister Irene, at least in the morning. They saw the exit and later they went to Cabrera, because of it there will no be images. Also they saw her having breakfast with the King.
Because of it it is strange, in addition Jaime was going with a briefcase.It will be necessary to expect to see if they give some news more.

And yes the Infantas curtsied to their parents, if they see that there are cameras ahead.

The Kings and the Princes of Asturias sent today telegrams of condolence to Jesus de Polanco's family after knowing the news of his death.

remember that this "gentleman " (jesús polanco) said in years 80:
"este tío ( por el rey) no me dura dos editoriales "
this gentleman thought that Juan Carlos would be the brief one (juan carlos el breve)

Jesus de Polanco was the President of the Grupo Prisa, a group formed by several companies dedicated to the publishing and of the communication. To him they belong the Santillana Publishing house, the newspaper El Pais or the Radio Ser.
