I have dry mouth and I chew gum often. Maybe, she just forgot to tke it out of her mouth. I do that.

brackets or not is it so important? and if it's true it's a good news for her but not as important for a such noise on written-press , Web ...etc...

Princess Letizia Gets Clear Braces - Latin Gossip

Letizia does have an overbite syndrome and maybe that is causing problems ... plus an ugly dark tooth that needs fixing again.

Paloma got brackets too a while ago but went for the visible type. http://www.hola.com/famosos/2005/10/26/procasolano-imagen/imgs/paloma-rocasolano1b.jpg

I didn't know that Paloma had brackets, too.

Letizia's black tooth "disappeared" 2-3 years ago.

Well, that's so weird. In the pictures in indeed doesn't look like she has brackets.
But how odd: why should anyone make photoshops of Leti with brackets?
Let's see... upcoming events (and close-up pictures) will tell...

To create stories, some people are certainly capable of doing so, the pink press is making a living on gossips, rumors and creating false stories. Braces will not go away in one day. If she indeed has them, they will show in other pictures for sure, even clear braces (I had them before) are still very visible in the closeups.

Don't see anything here.

How odd all the talk about her teeth?!!! what about her actual face?? is it just me or is princess letizia's face changing every now and then??! she does not look good at all!

She had a nose job. If we put a pair of magnifying glasses on any royal, no one's face would look the same all the time.
So far I don't see any brace in any clear picture from the well known photo agencies the last 2 weeks . I think if she really had put on braces, it's more likely she would have used the invisible braces that placed on the inside surfaces of her teeth like many public figures, for example Mary of Denmark or Kate Middleton (British press mentioned it) instead of clear braces on the outside surfaces.

If she felt she needed braces, as we call them in Australia - then good for her I guess. You can hardly notice them.

If Letizia decided to wear invisible braces to fix her teeth so be it. It's not really odd. If this isn't true, the yellow press has done it again - creating a field day! :D

Why in the world would anyone care if she was advised to wear braces. My grandchildren needed them for health reasons. If Letizia needs them, so be it. I often wonder what would be "picked apart" on each of us on this forum if we permitted to be under this forum's microscope. Letizia's name and position and works will always be in the history books -- doubt we can say that about ourselves. If, the media has created another silly story to sell papers, only the silly will repeat and believe.

Yes, it really is silly. If she has them, so what?

Casa Real has told a journalist that Letizia does not use brackets. The rumors were wrong and pictures were photoshopped.
The discussion will be left in this thread, however new discussions about this issue in this thread will be deleted.
Thanks you,

The ghost of Lady Di has crept into the Palacio de la Zarzuela.

I don't like mini skirts, other than that I think Letizia has improved her style comparing to Varela suits cut in exactly the same way in 2005 and 2006. She has had platform shoes for about 3 years, not just recently, so it's not only because of clothes and shoes alone. The international media has shown more interests at her since the French state visit. Now when the media talks about the famous wives or their fashion, very often they talked about Michelle Obama, Carla Bruni, Queen Rania and Princess Letizia. There have been so many photographers crowded at each of Letizia's act, I don't see other royals having so many internatinal photo agencies interested at their pictures of each act. And it has always been a norm that more interests outside means more interests inside Spain too. It's good or bad, all depends on how Zarzuela wants to use this visibility. Diana and Rania had attracted the world with their clothes first, then their humanitarian acts, their voices to be heard, but Zarzuela seems so old fashioned and out of dated. With the internet today, if the media doesn't show enough interest at the acts, then promote them yourself with a nice website, a YouTube channel. I guess this new media, internet concept is probably too 'fashionable' for the old grey men at Zarzuela.

She is doing great work as Princess, are the journalists who only speak of her dresses ..:bang::bang:

Letizia is the one wearing clothing that screams for attention. Of course the journalists are going to comment on it:flowers: If she doesn't want to be known as a "fashion princess" then she should stick to choices that are classic and elegant rather than things that would look better on a teenager. And I disagree with the post that says she has improved her style. She hasn't.

Doña Letizia says that to support the labour improvement of the woman is a guarantee of success for Spain

The Princess of Asturias has valued today the public and private initiatives that help women in their efforts for returning to the labour market or acceding to managerial positions and has underlined that to support the women who want to improve is a guarantee of success for the society and for Spain.

Doña Letizia has presided in the Teatros del Canal of Madrid a meeting with the participants in the Program LiderA, promoted by the Community of Madrid to improve the professional projection of the women across scholarships, training courses and a employment agency, an initiative that, at the end of the present year, will have benefited already 3.000 of Madrid.
