Felipe visiting Cristina

And great that he wasn´t accompanied by his wife so no reason for Cristina to wear black...
Maybe they (Felipe and Cristina) won´t meet each other around christmas holidays?

Maybe Felipe was asking for help for his girls' christmas presents?
"Hey Cris, you think Leo's gonna like this Pucca doll I bought her?"

Probably he also wanted to pay a visit to little Pablo, they couldn't attend his birthday as it was right after Felipe's trip to Mexico.

Why could we imagine that the Prince didn't be the guest of his sister during the nights passed in Catalogne rather a single visit of courtesy?

Since the investiture of Lula da Silva is scheduled for January 1st(!)

I was wondering if the Prince is going to attend the ceremony... This is an odd day for an investiture, don't you think?

The Prince already was present on January 1, 2003 at the first act of Lula's investiture, so I have the impression of which this year, he will have to return to come.

I do not believe that Letizia and Leonor accompany him, so it seems that they will celebrate the arrival of the new year, with an ocean for the way.

The Borbon family has some relatives in Brazil. It would be a nice work+holiday trip if Letizia is well enough to go.

The Prince and the projects of the Institute Elcano, as migration and terrorism

The Prince of Asturias presided today in Madrid at the meeting of the Patronage of the Royal Institute Elcano, in which one announced that next year between the big lines of performance, which will transform in projects, questions will appear as the geoestrategia of the energy, the migratory flows and impact or the global terrorism.

Besides, it will study the strategic position of Spain in the international order, of form more wide than in previous occasions, which one will form in a heterogeneous set of projects, related everything they with the exterior politics and its role in the international system.

During the meeting it informed about the activities of the year that it ends, during that the investigators of the institution realized 123 analyses and 28 Documents of Work.(...)

Don Felipe, as president of Honor, took part in the meeting in that there were Jose Antonio Alonso, the minister of Defense; Felipe Gonzalez Ex-prime minister; Marcelino Oreja the ex-minister of Foreign Affairs; Gabriel Elorriaga, representative of the PP; César Alierta, president of Telefonica, and Francisco Javier Monzón, president of INDRA.

WORDS GIVE BY H.R.H. THE PRINCE OF ASTURIAS IN 50 ANNIVERSARY OF SPANISH TELEVISION

In this year in which TVE celebrates it first half century of existence I want to add my voice to the congratulation that so many persons and from so diverse places they are offering to this authentic " cradle of the television in Spain ". A well-deserved congratulation, full of felt gratitude and recognition that today I direct specially so many men and women that with dedication, great professionalism and not without sacrifice they have made possible to cross an intense gait.

50 years in which TVE has been witness and exceptional transmitter of our History. We have known ourselves better across it while it was telling our happy moments, difficulties, our hopes and also sufferings. It has entertained us, has brought us over to the world, to the art and the culture, to the sport and the science. And it has allowed us to follow closely the political, economic and social evolution, lived inside and out of Spain.

TVE has filled this way with reality our lives, though also of meaningful well and pleasant fiction. At the time that it has brought us near to a better mutual knowledge, it has fomented values as the solidarity in a global world.

Today in Spain the panorama of the audio-visual world is enormously rich and varied; and it is just to remember that his development has been nourished of the valuable example of big figures and of the preparation and the effort of many professionals who were formed in this house.

Providing that I have had contact with them and when TVE has covered the development of my work as Inheritor of the Wreath, I could have estimated these qualities and the quality of their technical and professional teams.

When this one celebrates 50 birthdays we have a debt of gratitude carried away with all of them.

The Princess joins me for, in a special way, to direct our TVE more sincere congratulation, our deep gratefulness and our better desires of future.
