I agree with you on Maxima's outfit. She is probably the only Royal that could pull it off with such grace. I enjoy watching her vibrant personality and the fact that her loving husband lets her have the center stage. Good for them. They are each very happy in their own skins.

It is funny how Letizia moves away from Maxima when she fixes her hair. Letizia looks like she is going to school! Maxima, as always, looks great. I don't like the outfit too much but only Maxima can wear something like that and look great!

I have seen CP Maxima wear dresses, but she has unfortunately rather thick calves and ankles. Maybe she feels more comfortable not showing them as they are not her best feature.

Of course Letizia moved away - she was about to be hit by Maxima's hair. A very inappropriate way for Maxima to get her hair out of her face. Other than that - Maxima looks great and exuberant. Letizia has a very classic and lovely outfit on. Looks like silk blouse with ruffles at sleeves and around edges by front and collar and black pants in silk or other fabric with a lovely texture. Two very different women but both lovely in their own way.

I'm sure she probably had another outfit in mind. But, given that she is now in mourning her wardrobe will consist mostly of black and white. At least for a couple of weeks. I personally like Letizia's outfit a lot more than Maxima's. They definitely have totally different styles.

According to the press the Dutch Princes lodged at House of the Princes of Asturias and slept there. Albert of Monaco is a Chief of State, the Dutch princes not, because of it, he was invited in Zarzuela by the Kings, and they in the House of the Princes. There are going to be many Chiefs of State visits and of members of Royal Families, so they will have wanted to distribute it according to the ranges.
