El Mundo had a couple articles about the visit. They are long so I won't translate them completely, but a few interesting anecdotes/comments.
When asked if she missed being a journalist, Letizia said she didn't miss it, but she did have very fond memories of being a journalist, and that she still has the journalist's eye and interest to be always on top of what's going on. Felipe then joked that she "interviews me daily". He also said, now seriously, that because of her he doesn't feel as precautious with journalists. They did acknowledge, nonetheless, that they do sometimes feel accosted by the media and get particularly upset with some of the "both triffling and libelous" things said in some media outlets.
They must of asked her something about her role or something, they didn't really say what she was responding to, but she said that she feels her main responsibility, since Felipe will be King, is to be his support. That she wants to be useful to the State and wants for the Spanish people to be pleased with her actions. With all the preganancy/not pregnant rumours she must have felt compelled to also say "we will have children."
The reporter said that while they (the Royal House) had certainly taught her protocol, they had thankfully not sufficated her naturalness. He describes her as having "transparent" hands, almost like those of a Dolorosa statue (the agrieved Virgin Mary) and a neck like a white iris.
Then he mentions their circumspect, careful remarks regarding some political stuff that unless you care about Spainish politics I won't bother with.
The best line: "They have condemned her to be Queen one day." Apparently the author doesn't think it's a bit of a prize to be part of the monarchy.

as far as I can see in the pictures, they were taking the trouble to LISTEN to others as was required at that moment. they are professional and kind and will do fine, with each other and with spain.

Yes, I agree with you Anna. It crossed my mind that she might have made a conscious choice to appear a bit more professional in her job as opposed to the hand-holding "newlywed" look we saw more of this summer and early fall. I sure have alot of admiration for this couple -- their capacity for staying on the go is terrific!

It is probibly because of the wind. It could also be something she does when she is nervous. Sometimes when I am nervous I play with my hair.

According to ABC/Cordoba after they inaugurate this publicworks project they may also go into Cordoba proper to attend a literary event--but that would be a "private event".
In the meantime, the ongoing rumors that they are expecting their first child are once again "intense", according to www.elsemanaldigital.com. These latest rumors have spread--see from what silly substance rumors come from--because they "were so happy" when they were in Alicante seeing off the navy ship Galicia to Asia, and because Letizia's mother "didn't want to talk to the press while they chased her around Madrid". Too funny!

Yes, she has worn it the day after the Prizes Principe de Asturias, when they visited the village Villar de Vildas. She has also used it many other occasions, but in a skirt version, or just as single pieces.
