The photos are lovely but almost 2 years old, I wonder why they publish them now as there will be updated photos soon anyway?

It's disappointing that they have published old photos and since that they where released for Letizia's 40th birthday she is not in one of them.

Beautiful pictures...

The House of His Majesty the King publish two new photographs from the collection by Cristina García Rodero at the residence of Their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Asturias, on August 1, 2012, to mark the 40th anniversary of Her Highness Crown Princess of Asturias.

I does not matter if the photographs were taking two years ago. More pictures to come in the future.:flowers:

I think it was a detail to the press, especially for magazines, which are closed today because are published on Wednesday. Apparently the press demanded some new material.

The press is using many photos from that session, because it is the only one they have done officially and with a known photographer. There were family photos, and of Letizia with the girls ... but they had not published any of the prince with the girls. Now the press has the complete collection of the Asturias family.

These days there will be many pictures, and probably soon new official photos... so there was no reason to give new photos now.

Yes its a little puzzling alright, but nice to see them even if they are nearly 2 years old.

Well, these next days will be plenty of photos of the girls, and we´ll probably get new official ones this week (hopefully also by Cristina García Rodero ;)), so no reason to be upset yet.

No matter if they're old or new, I will always welcome pictures of the girls, LOVE them :D

As per Hola,Letizia paid a visit to Felipe Varela in Madrid (though I can't make her out in the video footage)

La princesa Letizia visita el taller de Felipe Varela, días antes de la proclamación

Its difficult to tell from the video if Letizia was in the back of the Peugoet or not. That said, I did notice that there were no escort / security cars either before or after the Peugoet, which I would expect her to have.

Also given the interest in what she might wear to the Proclamation, I would have expected Varela to have visited her at Zarzuela.

There are many more photos from this sitting under the thread Letizia's 40th anniversary. These photos published here now were not included in the original release.

That was just what lula wrote. It is great that they publish also these photos. Now there are photos of Letizia with the girls, Felipe with the girls and the whole family together at Letizia's 40th birthday set.

That's what I'd have thought too!

It does not make sense for her to go to Varela's atelier. The designer most likely will visit the future queen.
It is so exciting!
