This report talks about the Prince and Princess and the cinema, they often go to the cinema and sometimes at home organize private meetings with people from the cultural world.

Last Friday they went to the cinema to see "Enemy", on Saturday to see the Spanish film "Eight Basque surnames" and then to dinner. Last month they took the girls to "Frozen".

Saturday 29 March. They went with friends to the cinema to see "8 Basque surnames" a Spanish film and then to dinner at a chain restaurant Vips.

elmundo reports that the F+L with their family were in geneva, switzerland before the easter holidays, sometime between 10th and 20th april. they took a plane by iberia from geneva to madrid. a passenger who overheard them speaking with another person in the plane said they said the objective of the visit was not visiting cristina and her family, but to spend a few days in family. elmundo suggests they may have gone skiing with their daughters.
finally, the article ends by saying that a year ago, letizia also travelled to switzerland to have an "esthetical treatment" (esthetical surgery) in zurich. they report she flew with swissair that time.

Ouch it is unfortunate that they feel that way about other royals. Felipe is godfather to Prince Vincent of Denmark, isn't he?
 
And to IA of Norway. They let it look like Letizia forced him, because she declined first. Pff... If the whole story is true in the first place.
 
I haven't seen in any swedish media written that Felipe or Letizia should be godparent for Leonore. Their names have not been mentioned. Perhaps some of our swedish members can tell if they have seen such stories?
 
This story sounds ricidulous. First, why would Madde & Chris possibly chose Letizia as a godparent for Leonore? There doesnt seem to be any relationship, F&L didnt attend their wedding. Madde & Letizia seem polar oppsites to me.
Then, there is no problem to accept being a godparent and not to show up at the baptism as Felipe has already demonstrated twice.
 
As far as I'm aware the names of the godparents hasn't been released,this sounds like just another made up story to discredit Letizia.
 
That story makes no sense, is totally ridiculous tabloid inventions wanting to create controversy.

There is not a single logical reason to explain that they had chosen them as godparents. They are not friends, they were not even at the wedding, they are a couple and of a monarchy that has no particular link with the Swedish, the girl is not the daughter of the heir, and they could not attend the ceremony.

Everything is just speculation and at this point this comes from the spanish press. The swedish press hasn't mentioned Felipe and Letizia. The swedish press has mentioned as possible royal godparents Haakon, Mette-Marit, Märtha Louise, Joachim, Marie, Frederik, Nikolaos and Tatiana.
I don't see any reason Madeleine and Chris would ask Letizia or Felipe to be a godparent for Leonore. They weren't at the wedding and as far as I know, Chris hasn't met Felipe and Letizia.

This is such a nice surprise! I guess they have take them since today is holydays in Madrid and the girls don´t have to attend the school.... Good idea and well done, F&L. This is the way to go respecting the girls public appearances, indeed ;)

How pretty they look! Love Sofia´s dress and have to love Leonor´s poise, she´s such a little lady. This girl is so special :p

They look like they behaved incredibly well, I´m proud of my little girls :)


(Of course, I´m already expecting the comments about them being like robots for not running around and make noise like other royal children, and blah, blah, blah :lol:)
 
It is really great that the Little Infantas atended this ceremony !!! Only hope that next time the three ladies wear in a more appropiated way.
