I agree with what you say LadyK. I have the same feeling now that Leonor is born.

I don't really follow the Kings' activities, but are there also Republican protestors when they do such events like this?

Yes at some time there is this type of protests organized from communist or republican groups. The Catalan and Basque independentists also do it.

In this case, last week during the visit to Móstoles, there was a problem with two young people who also were taking a republican flag. The police retained them, and later opposite versions came. The young people said that the police had treated them badly, and that they only had showed a flag. The police say that they were making a row and discussing with persons who were seen to the Princes and who when they were called them the attention attacked them and because of it they detained them. IU that is a party of republican and communist ideology denounced what had happened because the young belonged to their formation, but how they were not useful to create a scandal. Because of it they organized a protest with the visit of the Princes to Fuenlabrada.

What happened the judges will clarify. But this way they managed to put a negative note to the acts of the Princes. Though not so negative, because there were many more persons acclaiming them and was a small group the one that they were protesting.
But it does not prevent it that any of them take advantage of the circumstances to criticize the Princes. A few senseless critiques because those who effected the detention, were not a safety personnel of the Royal House, but members of the antidisturbances of the State police, who depend on the Government.

The Prince does not have problems with the scandalous republicans; education and respect has more that many of them. Last year in a visit wing University of Balearics, a group of studenst were protesting, with republican flags and saying many barbarities ... the Prince bring them over and he greeted them without any problem.

During the visit to Fuenlabrada, it was not only the emotion with which the Princess answered the questions about her daughter that called the attention, but also the bracelet she uses to remember her greatest jewel. Doña Letizia, who wore for the occasion a suit of red trousers and a matching jacket, crowned the whole enssemble with a very special gold bracelet with brilliants: one for each letter of the name of her daughter, Leonor.

The main protagonists of the first part of their visit were the children of Fuenlabrada. The Princes of Asturias visited the public school 'Dulce Chacón', in the district of Loranca, to officially inaugurate this educative centre. There, Víctor and Andrea were waiting for them, to present Princess Letizia with a branch of flowers.
As a greeting, the Prince of Asturias "hit the five" with the small boy, who seemed enchanted with the visit of both. Immediately afterwards, the Princes visited some classrooms of the centre. The little children asked the Princes about Infanta Leonor and the Princess answered she was "at home", and they presented them with a tale, entitled "Adivina cuánto te quiero" (Guess how much I love you).

"LIKE a normal day, of work ". Thus the Princes de Asturias celebrated the second anniversary of their wedding. Only this time the scene of their day was the municipality of Fuenlabrada, the third largest one of Madrid, where they shared with its inhabitants such a special date for the pair.

Behind they have left two intense years in which the dynastic continuity has been guaranteed - with the birth of Infant Leonor-. "and what will come...", added Don Felipe. The Princess clarified the situation immediately and remembered that, as already expressed the Prince, their desire is to have "more than two and less than five" children but, before the surprise gestures, adds "with calm, there is no hurry".

Doña Letizia commented how her life now "is dedicated to the children". With many of them they were speaking and joking yesterday during the visit to an infantile center. Most of the students, of three years, asked for Leonor, where she was, if they had left her with a "nanny", if she was showing any teeth ... "But how? do you already read the newspaper? ", the Prince joked

I have to say that I'm very impressive by the Princes 's behaviour and their great sens of their duties.
We can obeserve it's important, even more psycologicaly judicious that the Princes could may to give a working sens at their regal activities. The visite as those of Mostoles or Fuenlabrada are very interesting for that because ( from the outside ) we are the sensation that it's not so easy and more risquy than the traditional visits of the regional capitals for which, we can imagine all is very well planed.
I think it's a good challenge to act this event because as far as Felipe should be King of Spain he has to demonstrate all days long in front all the spagniards his quiet but acurate determination. I find that with Letizia beside him, this kind of event is a true exercise of a constititional monarch and I find them succesful.

The Princes will preside at the commemoration of 300 San Roque's anniversary

The Princes of Asturias will travel tomorrow to the province of Cadiz to preside at the institutional Plenary session with which 300 will be commemorated anniversary of the foundation of San Roque's city. Don Felipe and Dona Letizia will come to the locality in the evening and will move to the municipal theatre Juan Luis Galiardo, where the plenary session will be celebrated.

Habitually the Plenary session is celebrated on May 21, for being in this date when there was emitted the Royal Certificate of Felipe V who was recognizing the city, though the first inhabitants had come two years before.

During their stay in San Roque they will receive in hearing the founder and a representation of the newspaper "Area".

I think so too. I've noticed with other crown princesses (like Mary) that they seem to relax after the birth of the first child. I think they are just relieved.

I do think she seems more at ease with children and that could be because now that she has her own she's more relaxed. I've known plenty of people who seem more maternal once they have their own kids.
You could also say that's as she's been doing the "job" longer, she's more idea of what to do and expect.
