I know that these pictures aren't from a recent event, but I came across them and thought they would be worth posting. They are from when F&L went to visit that chemical lab.

Nice pictures, but i dont think Letizia was dressed well for a lunch with a president. She would of looked more formal and well dressed for the occasion if she was in a skirt with a nice top and jacket. She looked like she was going for an opening.

The president is 78 years old...:o
I know what you mean about her looking like his mum. But, it is a curse that, us, women share, that of looking older than your spouse. Even though you might be a fewer years younger than him. Woman take a lot of stress and worry, which ends of up on their face...

Anyways, found a few pics from SEEGER-PRESS, here they are....

Letizia stands out in these last pictures. And I don't really think in all that great of a way. She looks out of place in the pant suit when the other two women are dressed in skirts...did anyone else think this, or was it just me?

She does look tired and bored. It could also be that her make up was so plain and boring she looked tired, meaning that she had eye color on and hardly an blush.

THis is from the Royal Family's website. I will translate later this afternoon.

(Teatro Real. Madrid, 30 de noviembre de 2004)

Their Royal Princes de Asturias presided over, in the Real Theater, the delivery of the Prize of Journalism "Francisco Cerecedo", that to its XXI edition it has fallen to the Italian writer Antonio Tabucchi. Don Felipe, in its words, it emphasized of Antonio Tabucchi that could have shut in exclusively in the success of its novels, "but it has preferred to give its opinion us clarified with regard to the civic ups and downs, of the social and democratic conflicts, of the human realities "in the columns that it publishes in Italian and Spanish newspapers. Also one talked about to two events of great importance for the construction of a united Europe: "historical" the extension from the UE to twenty-five countries and the recent signing of the Constitutional Treaty, "that as European and inheriting of Spanish Corona I follow with great interest these events and the debates around them".

Is more or less translated. :S
