I love what she wears on both the wedding in Ibiza and their visit on the Assoc Syndrome Down..but I don't like the uniform type that she wears(i8 don't know the occasion, the yellow one)..:neutral:

The Princes inaugurate today the major center of work for disabled psychic of the Community of Madrid

The Princes of Asturias inaugurate today the new headquarters of the Foundation Juan XXIII, who receives the major center of work for persons with psychic disability of the Community of Madrid and who gives employment to a whole of 400 persons, 90 % of disabled them

As this foundation reported, these persons form a part of three organizations: the special center of Employment Ibermail S.L., of services of direct advertising and postal distribution; Integralia, another special center of employment in the one that informs also the Group Globalia; and the occupational center Foundation Juan XXIII, of social and labour integration, who offers also services of center by day.

The designed one for the architects Parga and Otegui, the building has got up on area yielded by the Town hall of Madrid, and with the funding of the founders, Luis Arroyo and Protection Martínez, Social Work of Box Madrid, the Foundation ONCE, Sacyr Vallehermoso, the Secretariat of State of Social Services, Families and Disability of the Department of Work and the Community of Madrid.

The new center, which possesses an extension of 10.000 square meters, has supposed a total investment of 7,6 million Euros.

The prince of Asturias, Felipe de Borbón and his wife, Letizia Ortiz, will visit next Wednesday, the 20th of September, Lucena's city to inaugurate the Center of Innovation and Technology (CIT) of the Madeira and the Furniture of Andalusia, nailed in the managerial park of Fat Hill, baptized precisely with the Prince's Felipe name .

Inauguration of the new one sedates of the Foundation Juan XXIII and Special Center of Employment IBERMAIL

Their Royal Highnesses the Princes of Asturias have presided at the inauguration of the new one sedate of the Foundation Juan XXIII and Center of Employment IBERMAIL.

At their arrival to the Foundation, the Princes were got by the mayor of Madrid, Alberto Ruíz-Gallardón; the secretary of State of Social Services, Families and Disability, Protection Valcarce; the founder and president of the Foundation Juan XXIII, Luis Arroyo; and the founder and general secretary of the Foundation, Amparo Martínez Mañas.

Immediately afterwards, and already inside the building, Their Highnesses were greeted by Beatriz Elorriaga Pisarik, adviser of Family and Social Matters of the Community of Madrid; Maria del Carmen Álvarez-Arenas, viceadviser of Employment and Woman of the Community of Madrid; Ana Botella, second lieutenant of mayor and councilman of the Area of Government, Employment and Services of the Citizenship of the Town hall of Madrid; Jose Maria Álvarez del Manzano, president of the Governing Meeting of the Fair of Madrid (Ifema); Juan Jose Hidalgo, executive president of Globalia; Carlos Maria Martínez, Benefit society's general manager Box Madrid; Alberto Durán, president of the Foundation ONCE; Manuel Manrique, managing director of Sacyr-Vallehermoso; and Javier Arroyo Martínez, general manager of the Foundation Juan XXIII.

After discovering a commemorative plate of the inauguration of the center, Don Felipe and Dona Letizia went to the Room of Meetings, where the general manager of the Foundation and the architects authors of the building project realized an exhibition on the new facilities. Later, Their Royal Highnesses initiated a tour for the center, visiting between other facilities to the workshop of the Special Center of Employment and of the Occupational Center, as well as the Room of Physical therapy and Area of Work. To end, the Princes conversed during a few minutes with the assistants to the act, later to be seen off by the same authorities that they received at their arrival.

The espontaneidad of the students caused that more than one it saluted with a shock of hands to Don Felipe, that another one remembered the stage in the news of the TVE of Doña Letizia and sighed to leave he in the television newscast, or taught photos to them of the wedding of Prince de Asturias so that were signed you.
The photo of today family was multiplied by so many departments as they visited the Princes, from the gymnasium to the room of packed or the classrooms. All wanted a memory of the real visit and also to know of Infant Leonor. Don Felipe said to them that it was in house.
At another moment, the Princes received like flattery a drawing made by one affected of syndrome of Down of 41 years, in which they appeared they with Infant Leonor, and in whose reverso they appeared the companies of all the students of the classroom.

They are doing alot of events related to Downs syndrom lately, I can hardly ever remember Felipe doing this before he married. Surly it would be possible for Letizia to visit some of theese foundations by herslef now, since it is was obiously not a priority for him before.

I would love to see Letizia, doing this alone, but it seems that at least for a while, this is not going to happen... But I love see the prince involved in this kind of activity, because they show this kids that are important, to the heir to the trone...

I'm glad that with Letizia, Prince Felipe is abble to be near to the people and this kind of institutions. Before his wedding all his acts were kind of military and State ones, so I believe they are together, as a couple, honouring the compromisse assumed on their wedding day - as he said they would.

Of course Princess Letizia could have been there by herself, to be honest any of us could, what science there is to be, talk, hear and understand people who work in a such heartwarming way?!

But as lis say I believe it is important that, if their agendas allow, they can go together and live these experiences as a couple and Heirs to the Throne.

I don't agree when you say that before it wasn't a priority for the Prince, I think that people are now requesting more and more the couple's presence to support and call attention to their work, assuming perhaps before that the Prince wasn't interested or had other compromises; now they start going to these events and in some time 24 hours a day won't be enough to answer all requests...

I like very much this kind of acts, the princes are very happy with this children, Letizia looks adorable and enjoying the visit with many spontaneous acts. It´s clear that with Letizia is easier to do this acts,the prince is more confident with the children. It´s the best to see the princes doing their activities with the same happiness and clearly so in love.

The espontaneidad could yesterday on the cold protocol that sometimes accompanies the official acts by Its Heights Reales Princes de Asturias. In this occasion, the hosts of Don Felipe and Doña Letizia were the psychic discapacitados ones that work and receive formation in the Foundation Juan XXIII and that inaugurated their new seat yesterday: a building of 10,000 square meters located in Vicálvaro from which they offer his ability to work to the companies.

"When the works finish"

Some by which they also accompanied to the Princes in his route by the center quickly were identified by the discapacitados ones, like the mayor of Madrid, Alberto Ruiz-Gallardo'n, who commented surprised that until had asked a young person there to him which when the works of a next bridge would finish.

To the inauguration also attended the previous mayor of Madrid and present president of IFEMA, Jose Maria Alvarez of the Apple tree, since he was in his stage of regidor when the lands were yielded on which the new occupational center has been constructed. After the visit, Don Felipe and Doña Letizia they shared a appetizer with the workers of the center.

The building that inaugurated the Princes yesterday constitutes the greater center of work for people with psychic discapacidad of the Community of Madrid and employs to 400 people, the 90 percent of discapacitadas them.

In the last months it happens slightly curiously, it is true that the Princess always is accompanied of the Prince, and that is he who is in the habit of doing the speeches ... but also it is true that exempting the rapid trips to latinamerica, some hearing and some military act ... the Prince already does not do almost acts in solitarily, in the majority he is accompanied of his wife.

Also it is true that in the agenda of the Prince have got more acts of social character, with children, sick and disabled. This week they have had three acts, and three very different acts ... the sports, one social and today the economic one ... increasingly they try to include diferent things.

I agree with the ABC article it's about the most spontaneous visit of the Princes. I love all the pictures , thanks for posting them. This picture looks cute and they had the similar expression.

Felipe could have stayed home, let Letizia go by herself. But he enjoyed the event just as much and everyone else was happy to have him too. A good break for him (them) from the usual serious events with grey men in dark suits.

Inauguración of the remodeling of the facilities of the historical archive of the Official Cámara of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Barcelona
Barcelona, September 14th, 2006
On the part of Their Royal Highness the Princes of Asturias

After their arrival, Their Royal Heighness the Princes of Asturias were received by the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona, Miquel Valls, and the Secretary of State of Tourism and Commerce, Pedro Mejía. In the entrance lobby, Don Felipe and Doña Letizia were greeted by the vice-presidents of the Cámara, Jose Manuel Basáñez, Josep González and Ángel Simón, and, after acceding to the Salón Dorado the first plant, by the rest of advisors of the Cámara, Maria Àngels Agulló, Maria Teresa Bassons, Josep Cercós, Joan Gaspart, Enrique Lacalle, Genís Marfà, Josep Morell, Enric Reyna, Xavier Carbonell, and Maria Dolors Colomer.
It next gave to beginning in the Salón Lucrecia a meeting work with the Council of the Camera, that had the following Daily routine:
- Words of welcome of the president.
- Situation of the Tourism in Barcelona, by Joan Gaspart.
- Situation and projects of the Fira of Barcelona, by Enrique Lacalle.
- Situation of the living, by Enric Reyna.
- Aspects connected with the port and airport of Barcelona, by Genís Marfà.
Once finished the meeting, Their Royal Heighness were transferred to the Archive of the Cámara, where they were greated by the mayor of Barcelona, Jordi Hereu, the advisor of Economy, Property, Tourism and Commerce of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Antoni Castells, and the ex- president of the Cámara, Antonio Negre, and already in the interior, by the person in charge of the Archive, Maria Pont, and the director of the Historical Archive, Xavier Cortés.
Next, Don Felipe and Doña Letizia initiated their route by the facilities and visited a commemorative exhibition, that includes, among other pieces, countable documents of the Amat family and the Consulate of Cadiz of XVIII century, the first book of acts of the Cámara from year 1886, old photographies, documents of the Commission of Industrial and Mercantile Incorporation nº 2, exemplary ones of the “Llibre of the Consolat of Sea”, Ship's log of the frigate “San Francisco de Paula”, Real Certificates of Carlos III and Fernando VII, the Atlas of Abraham Ortelius of 1588, and the “Portulano” of Andrew Welsh, between other pieces. To their conclusion, the Princes were flattered by the president of the Camera with a facsimile of the “Royal Certificates of the Three Bodies of Commerce”.
Their Royal Heighness were transferred next to the Salón de Contrataciones, where they conversed during minutes with the assistants, with which the act finalized, being dismissed by the present authorities.

There are photos in facetoface but they cannot be placed in the forum, during the morning, they will appear more. Letizia was dressing a suit of jacket and white trousers, with a mauve t-shirt.;)
