The Princes of Asturias and the Dukes of Palm, with their children, have come these days to Majorca, a stay that Don Felipe and Dona Letizia will interrupt next Friday to represent in Gerona to the IVth Nit of the Girona Convention Bureau, which organizes the area of tourism of the Chamber of of Gerona Trade.
The Princes also will come to the lyric show programmed later in Peralada's Castle, in which they will operate the soprano Maria Guleghina, the tenor Jaume Aragall and the baritone Joan Pons.

I love the way that they both embrace the families (especially Letizia). It's as if they don't think twice about a hug to those in mourning. How wonderful. I think that the prince picked that up from his mother, she has that same way about her. And Letizia is doing a fantastic job, you can see from the pics that she really seems to care. BRAVO, to both of them.

The Princes of Asturias preside the Night IV of the Girona Convention. Bureau in Peralada's Castle

The Princes of Asturias and of Girona presided this evening at the fourth edition of the show of the Girona Convention Bureau, in which there were delivered the prizes that the Chamber of Trade of Girona grants to the companies or institutions that foment the qualit tourism in Girona.
In the frame of the Castle of Peralada, the Prince of Asturias he congratulated the distinguished ones, since " they are a clear example of the diversity of tourist products that Girona offers the visitor ".
Likewise, he encouraged to the Chamber of Trade to " persevering in the zeal of overcoming, of innovation and improvement of the tourist sector of this land ".

I believe that we will know it on Sunday. In an article of this one week I read that though they were invited (as to all the acts of the Foundation) finally they would not go, and in the web of the Foundation does not bring anything. Nevertheless today they have said in a program of tv that yes. So it is not known, if any innovation already I will put it.

yes, elsa. in a tv programme they said they were going to spend the weekend in asturias to visit her grandmother and they are going to the concert as well. wonder if it will be a night concert with a gala gown or formal attire...

The princes of Asturias represented yesterday in the night in the audience of the gardens of the Castell de Peralada to the great lyric night of the international festival of music that Ukrainian Maria Guleghina took as protagonists to the soprano, the tenor Jaume Aragall and the baritone Joan Pons. The prince Felipe and his wife presided before at the act of delivery of the prizes of the IVth Nit of the Girona Convention Bureau that grants for eight years the Cambra de Comerç of Girona. The Princes were answering this way to the invitation that did the managerial organism to them during the visit that they realized to the regions of Girona November of last year.
Don Felipe de Borbón and dona Letizia, that they are enjoying of a few days of rest, came to the castle of Peralada proceeding from Palma a few minutes within 19 hours. At their arrival they were got by the hosts, the marriage Artur Suqué and Carmen Mateu, together with other authorities.
Don Felipe began his intervention forthwith of delivery of awards going to the attendees in Catalan, to conclude his speech in Spanish. The prince of Asturias and of Girona emphasized the importance of the prizes that " reward those that have stood out for the made well work ", said, after indicating that so much at the personal level since institutional they were feeling " joined this land, where Catalunya finds the origins of its language, its culture and its history ", in reference to the regions of Girona, which don Philip defined as " crossing of ways and point of meeting of peoples and of cultures ".
The intervention of the Prince was followed by all attention by his wife, dona Letizia, who was illuminating a vaporous garment premamá of classic cut and a chaquetilla of white color, and the rest of the attendees.
After the delivery of the prizes, with which the Cambra de Comerç recognizes the work of promotion and innovation of the companies dedicated to the tourism, a dinner celebrated in the pavilion of the castle ampurdanés which there attended about trescintas persons linked with the sector tourist and managerial and related to the market congresual.
On having finished the dinner, into which Letizia changed the cream of chocolate with wild fruits of dessert into watermelon, the princes of Asturias retired to rest during a few brief instants to the private stays that the marriage Suqué-Mateu preserve in the castle ampurdanés.There they greeted the ex-president of the Generalitat, Jordi Pujol, and his wife, Marta Ferrusola and to the president of the PP of Catalunya, Josep Piqué, and the tailor Manuel Pertegaz, who also were present at the party.
On having finished the first part of the concert, in which Guleghina, Aragall and Pons interpreted arias, duets and lyric trioes accompanied by the Orquestra Sinfònica of Barcelona i National of Catalunya under the baton of the director of the Opera of San Francisco, Marco Armiliato, the Princes visited in the library of the castle the exhibition Thousand and a Quijotes. The sample is a selection of some of the copies of the famous Cervantine work that compose the collection that Miquel Mateu was forming throughout the years and that today they form a part of the fund of Peralada's Museu del Castell. A collection that is considered to be one of the most important between the private roads on work of Cervantes and Don Quijote de la Mancha and that is composed for more than 1.100 editions different from the Cuisse and other 5.000 publications of Cervantine works that Michael Mateu managed to assemble along all his life.
On having finished the recital, the princes of Asturias returned to the rooms deprived of the castle they gives birth to congratulate the interpreters and to rest brief before tackling again the trip on returning to Palma to continue enjoying their vacations
