World-wide the Meteorological Organization (OMM) will celebrate in Madrid, between the 19 and the 22 of March, an international conference dedicated to evaluate the benefits of the meteorological services for the development

Queen Sofia will visit tomorrow the base of Spanish Desafío

Queen Sofía will in the evening visit east Thursday the base of Spanish Desafío in the Port of Valencia in the occasion of its participation in trigesimogesunda Glass of America. His Majesty will visit the harbor facilities after participating in the inauguration of the Forum the International Childhood and violence. The well-known liking of the Royal Family to the sport of the candle has caused that great part of its members has visited the Port of Valencia already since the previous acts to the America Glass began.

Spain's Queen Sofia welcomes the members of the 'Desafio Espanol' 2007 team during her visit to the team's premises in Valencia's port, eastern Spain. The 'Desafio Espanol' will compete in the America's Cup sailing event from 23 June to 07 July.
