Totally in agreement. Letizia is in Madrid, and at this hour Leonor sleeping ... because she cannot come to the dinner? Already it is enough that she does not realize acts alone, but that besides has to remain in house providing that her husband not this one is a bit too much. More having in counts the asistence of the wife of Zapatero, who only comes to the acts in that she is interested personally, assurance that in this case because Michelle Bachelet is a chairwoman woman and Socialist.

From outside it's very difficult to understand this way of life. If it's a protoclar reason, it's a little bit an anachronism ( understatment! ) If it's a political reason, because it's not a State visit, but only an official visit it's also totally irrelevant ( for me ) because as Princess of Asturias, Letizia is nearly interessed by this diner. The , true reasons escape me, but it's not very glorious for the CR.

And lula, I am very surprised that you said this about Sonsoles Espinosa. She goes to the acts that she wants...it's normal, she is not the president and she is free to go when she wants. What is your problem with her? I don't think you can say she is interested personally. Ana Botella (the wife of Aznar) went to every act because she wants to be politic...this for me is a repectless for the people of Spain.

The wives of presidents of Government only should come to the acts in which the protocol required it, because they do not have any role. Ana Botella wanted to be the protagonist and wanted to attend everything. Sonsoles is more discreet, but she does not stop doing what wants, comes to acts in which she has a personal interest, for example, I still do not deal because she came to the delivery of the Cervantes Prize, and I would like to know if to this dinner that is official and not of State there were coming the wives of other politicians or not.

I can understand that Letizia does not do acts in solitarily and am thinking about understanding the reasons, though I believe that already the sufficient time has passed in order that this circumstance changes. . But I cannot understand that being in Madrid do not come to this dinner, to which if the Prince had been if he had come. If it is a problem of protocol, the situation can be solved.

Antonio Gamoneda gains XV the Prize Queen Sofía of Latin American Poetry

The writer Antonio Gamoneda (Oviedo, 1931) has been awarded today with XV the Prize Queen Sofía de Latin American Poesía, jointly summoned by National Patrimony and the University of Salamanca.

Queen Sofía will give this distinction in a solemn ceremony in the hall Columns of the Real Palace of Madrid, during the last trimester of the year.
