The Kings will travel today to Canaries
The Kings will travel today to Canaries, where they will visit Lanzarote's islands, Great Canary and Tenerife, in which capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, they will represent on Tuesday, the 22nd, to a commemorative concert of the Anniversary XXX of don Juan Carlos' arrival to the throne.
The Government of Canaries, at which Adam Martin presides, has organized this concert of honoring to the King and to remember an efeméride that changed the history of Spain.
This day of 1975, with Franc still of present body in the Royal Palace, till then Prince of Spain was turning into King, and the dictatorial regime of the general was giving step to a parliamentary Monarchy that expires now thirty years.

In the evening, don Juan Carlos and dona Sofía will travel to Great Canary and in the capital, Las Palmas, will visit the cathedral and the House of Colon, in the historical hull of the city, Vegueta's neighborhood.
At the last hour of the evening, in the Audience Alfredo Kraus, the Kings will preside at the act of delivery of the Golden medals to the Merit in the Fine arts, with which every year the Government distinguishes to persons and entities that have stood out in the field of the artistic and cultural creation or have given well-known services in the promotion, development or diffusion of the art and the culture or in the conservation of the art heritage.
Between the winning ones this year they stand out the Brazilian singer Caetano Veloso, the photographer Cristina García Rodero, the cantaoras Fernanda and Bernarda de Utrera, the writers Clara Janés and Jose Luis Sampedro, the bullfighter Paco Camino, the actor Jose Luis Gómez, the dancer Jose Antonio, the current director of the National Ballet of Spain, the designer Carolina Herrera and the conductor Odón Alonso.
Medals of Gold will gather also to the Merit in the Fine arts the plastic artist Juan Genovés, the actresses Victoria Abril and Maria Galiana, the painter Ginés Liébana, the designers Amaya Arzuaga and Sara Navarro, the architect Dionysus Hernández Gil, and the magazines 'Pace' and 'Littoral'.
On Tuesday, don Juan Carlos and dona Sofía will move to Tenerife. In the south of the island, in the municipality of Adeje, the Kings will inaugurate the center ' Magma, art and congresses ', a modern building with the one that is chased to revitalize the cultural activity of this zone and to attract the celebration of congresses.
In the evening, in the Hotel Mencey of the capital tinerfeña, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the Kings will receive in hearing to an agricultural representation of the sectors and fishing of the islands.
Already in the night, they will preside at the concert that the Government of Canaries has organized on the occasion of thirty anniversary of the proclamation of the King, who will take place in the new Audience of Tenerife, designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava.
The concert will run at the expense of the Symphonic Orchestra of Tenerife, directed by its holder, Víctor Pablo Perez.
