The new dog of the King is named Tucho

Obedient, smooth and hairy, grey like a cloudy sky and with dark, deep eyes that awake under a fixed glance... Tucho is a Gos d´Atura and will be the new dog of H. M. the King. The attractive dog is being educated by the canine specialist Vicente Ferré. "In the Royal House, they all love these animals”, Ferré says.

The dog has to be educated to live surrendered by carpets, furniture, and all type of conditioners, as the official visits or friends the Kings usually receive". In order to face such responsibility, "it is demanded that the animal has a special behaviour, so that it can exquisitely adapt to the new situation". The trainer considers that the dog is already prepared to "play with the grandchildren of the King, without the slightest danger. It can also peacefully cohabit with Queen Sofia’s dogs. Its job is accompanying the King in the daily life".

King Juan Carlos is going to replace his ship, Bribón, by a new one made in New Zealand, which costed 1000000 €. It is a new "Formula 1" of the seas, with which Don Juan Carlos hopes to win this year's competitions, starting on June 28th, with Queens Cup, in Palma de Mallorca.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums and think they're great! :)... One question regarding the spanish royals: Does anybody have information on the relationships between Queen Sofia and the sisters of King Juan Carlos? thanks.

Welcome on board, sOFIa! :)
I guess it's a quite cordial relationship... if I find any articles about it, I'll post.

Welcome!

Welcome Sofia! I hope you have a good time in this great site.;)

By the way... I've heard Queen Sofía talking for the first time about the pregnancy of Letizia on the TV a few minutes ago. Of course, she seemed very happy. :)

Thanks guys. BTW: people have been sending messages to me and- I promise there is no obsession wth QS...just that my mother named me after her ;)

I saw the video of the the Queen on Antena3- she seems very happy- hopefully we'll be able to see her having as much fun with her new grandchild as she does with Elena and Cristina's children! :p

Queen Sofia visited today the Prado Museum, where she showed her satisfaction for the pregnancy of the Princess and stated that she doesn't have any preferences on the sex of her grandchild: "the important thing is that the baby-boy or baby-girl is healthy and that comes well". "We are enchanted", said the Queen, and she added that the Princes "are not nervous" about the pregnancy of the Princess, who is taking it "very well".
