Not necessarily. "Hijo" is not meant to distinguish a son or a daughter. The word should be translated as "child".

i'm sorry...i was referring to what isabella said.."the Infanta cannot practice because she is pregnant with her fourth son"

Exactly! Me too! :)
The word used in the article is "hijo" and Isabella translated it as "son", but "hijo", in Spanish, does not distinguish son/daughter... it simply means Cristina is pregnant of her fourth child...

Does anyone know when her due date is?

Photos from La Casa del Rey:

1. Cristina received a representation of the Real Maestranza de Valencia, whose members honoured her with the Bow of Lady of the Real Maestranza;

2. Later on, she presided over the IMSERSO Infanta Cristina 2004 Awards, which rewarded individuals and outstanding organizations dedicated to support people whose disabilities make them dependent on others.

Are there any pictures of Inaki as a little boy? In looking at all the pictures of his sons in their respective threads, I wonder if any of them resmebled him as a child, especially Juanito and Miguel (since I think Pablos resembles the King as a child).

Infanta Christina with her husband in Tunis

Today I watched the Final match (Croatia-Spain) of World Handball Championship held in Tunis.

Infanta Christina and her husband were present there. They looked so sweet to me..
As you probably know, Spain won..we lost :(
After winning Inaki was overwhealmed with Spain victory-there were tears in his eyes, while Infanta Christina looked at him with her warm smile..So sweet..I hope there will be pictures..I assumed they were present because Inaki is formal handball player, isn't it?

Congratulations on your victory!

The Duke of Palm, who is the vice-president of the COE, appears on the cover of the February edition of the magazine Ronda, which is published by Iberia. The husband of Infanta Cristina, who attended Thursday the supper that King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia offered to the members of the COI, states in this interview his conviction that Madrid will organize the 2012 Olympic Games.

Wow! A lot of good news for the Urdangarín family this weekend. :)

Thanks Alejandra for post the pictures and thanks Elsa_M. for that wonderful cover.;)

And I've to say that I’m so happy for the Spanish handball team!! They totally deserved to win!

I watched Iñaki crying on TV. He was so moved, and so happy!

Here some photos from this happy day for the Spanish sport:

Thanks for the new pictures meac.

While I really like the new picture of Cristina and Inaki, I don't so much for the new one of Cristina in the white suit. I was always partial to the one of her with her hair swept up in the gauzy blue dress.

This picture of Cristina in the white suit isn't new anyway. It was taken some time back in conjunction with a UNICEF program she was a chairperson for in Spain. The picture of Cristina and Inaki was taken last summer.

Inaki is sooo handsome! I adore him!!! Thanks so much for the pictures. :)

Anyway, so I think it's fun that Infanta Cristina and Princess Alexia are pregnant at the same time- again! I hope we'll see some pictures of the very close cousins together sometime soon.

From Colourpress:

Princess Cristina of Spain with her husband, Inaki Urdangarin, and their three children Juan, Pablo and Miguel enjoyed the Barcelona-Valladolid handball game in Barcelona. The Duke of Palma used to play for Barcelona before he became engaged to the Princess and he still loves to watch his old team. He even cried out of emotion when Spain became worldchampion last week.
