Awwww, I've noticed that Elena's kids look a lot like their grandma, Queen Sofia! Elena looks like her mother too...Cristina's kids look like Inaki/their grandpa, King Juan Carlos.

Victoria Federica is my most favorite little princess right now. She is so adorable. I hope she will turn out okay when she grows up!

The Duke of Lugo had a stroke some years back, just days after Elena's 40th birthday, I believe. He sought some treatment in New York City some months ago, too, as well as regular physiotherapy in Spain. But he did not lose the use of his legs.

i read somewhere that the Duke of Lugo used to be a banker during the early days of his marriage...what has happen after the stroke? Is he still working? What do they live on??

I think Victoria resembles her mom physically, and Elena doesn't have a naturally happy, smiley face the way her sister Cristina does, so I think Victoria usually looks like she is pouting, irritated and moody when maybe she doesn't really mean it. But it might also be the presence of the cameras; Victoria doesn't seem like such the ham her brother Froilan is.

I mean that Froilan seems to adore the presence of the cameras and puts on a little show for them. Even if he is sticking his tongue out at the cameras, I think for him (unlike for Marius Hoiby) he really does like the attention of the journalists and cameras. Of course sometimes he is caught doing bad things (the infamous Froilan kick at the wedding in May) but even then he didn't seem too concerned that he was caught, he seemed to more enjoy th attention.

I really love the picture of grandmas Sophia holding Victoria as a baby. I love seeing pictures of Sophia with all of her grandkids. It's very obvious how hands on she is, and how much she adores all of them. This pictures is evidence of that. Elena and Cristina's kids are very lucky to have her as a grandma.
