Boys grow so much specially Nikolai. I see in him Manley's grandfather and some of his father too.
Felix has beautiful eyes.

The boys both have beautiful eyes. They're so blue, Alexandra's eyes are very dark, but she must have a recessive blue-eye gene in there. They're so adorable, even though I probably can't say that about Nikolai because he's only 6 years younger than me! =D

Yes, they live mainly with Alexandra; however, they do stay with Joachim quite a bit. The children seem to be able to spend a lot of time with both of their parents.

Great photos! I love Felix' costume. He seems like he has a very funny personality.

Ah, my favorite royal kid, along with his brother.
He's looking so much like his mom. He used to look like Prince Joachim and Nikolai used to look more like the countess. But these days, that's changed. Felix has Alexandra's bright eyes, eyebrows and smile, his dad's coloring, while Nikolai has his dad's facial expressions and his mom's coloring. Both are equally charming.

Yes, indeed, a wonderful occasion to congratulate the two brothers. Now when they visit Schackenborg they will make a larger family, which, in good time, will hopefully include even more siblings --- fun for them at their father's home.

I believe that Marie and Joaquim will make a very warm home for all of the children --- a contented country life in a beautiful setting.

Martin Jorgensen (husband of Countess Alexandra) has helped to make a film about Prince Nikolai. The filmmakers have been filming Nikolai every six months since his birth. The film will be shown on Danish TV later this summer in honor of the prince's tenth birthday. The production company is owned by Martin's father, who has made several films about the royal family over the years.
