If Joachim found guilty of speeding, I must say that he must be punished. Probably, these royals (Fred, Mary and Aunt Benedikte)think since theyre above the law and cannot be punished they can do whatever they want (like speeding) and dont think the consequences. He should served as a role model for the people not a bad influence on them.
Princess Alexandra did also drive to fast a couple of times
Bah, I've checked the news print and they can't give me a consistent answer! They range from the speed limit being 80 - 110 and that he was driving between 140 - 170 km/h! Stupid media.

He, he. I'll agree the media are often stupid, but the reason for the different limits is because somewhere on that highway you are allowed to go 80 and at other parts you may go 110.
Well anyway the news is, that the police says they don't have enough proof based on the video, so Joachim can't be charged with speeding.

Any particular consideration of you for post that wedding anniv. on Joachim's thread instead of alexandra's thread? Josefine. Do you want to remind Joachim of the date he made a dreadful mistake?
It said in an article that a blond woman ws in the car with him. Bu t i don't think he or any other member of the royal family should get charged. they should just quickly learn from their mistakes so this privilege won't get taken away from them.
Apparently Joachims secretary has confirmed that Joachim WAS driving the car, so it is true unfortunately. Other than that the court hasn't commented the incident.
I just read the news in this link http://pub.tv2.no/nettavisen/english/article302798.ece... It said that he was driving in 170km/hour...and (as you said) the court hasn't commented the incident.....geeeezzzz.... I have a question...what is going to be happened if the royal family member speeding then hurt or causing the death of somebody else? does the court will do nothing? will they still get immunity?

It's hard to say, because as far as I know nothing like that has ever happened. I know nothing of law, so anyone who does please correct me if I'm wrong... But I think that according to the law the royal (danish at least) family is immune, and you would have to change the constitution if a member should be punished. I don't know if they would change the law in such a serious matter, lets hope it will never be necesarry to cange it.

Its Ok if you are not sure about it...lets hoping that some one who know about it will give us more information. I think it will not fair for the victim if the law let them free at all:( .
Now that sounds like a plausible excuse. Doesn't make it right but it sounds plausible.
Now I'm asking why or what did he have to hide from pap reporters? He should be used to that already, or maybe he became sensitive to the lot of them since divorce announcement ? Just think about it, and a conspiracy is spinning.

I think that no matter how long you are in the public eye, whether it be from birth as in Joachim's case or later in your life, such as in the case of Alexandra, you are never quite used to the paparazzi chasing you. Look at the paparazzi chase that resulted in Diana's death. She was arguably one of the most photographed women in the world at the time, and by all accounts she should've been used to the paparazzi chasing her. Yet on that fateful night someone gave the order for her driver to speed through that Paris tunnel to get away from the press.
It might not be that Joachim had something to hide, but perhaps that he was just frustrated by the situation. No doubt since the divorce announcement there is increased attention in him, particularly about who he may be dating now.
Both Alexandra and Joachim still wear their wedding rings. I guess they believe even through they aren't together, they still are married and should repect the whole idea of marriage.
