Prince Joachim has faithfully worn his wedding ring during the entire separation period, but it has finally been taken off.

Prince Joachim's left hand, without a ring, have been visible at several of the prince's latest public appearances.

Among other things was the liberated finger visible, when the prince the other day handed out prizes to young researchers at a finale for "young researchers 2005" in Ingeniørernes Hus. Billed Bladet wrote this on Wednesday.

Without the ring, Prince Joachim now is without visible proof to the destroyed marriage with Princess Alexandra, and he no longer have to reign himself in, when he for example wants to take a trip to a discoteque.

That's what they're insinuating by the article.

She's someone who's been on a Danish reality show, and met Prince Joachim in 2003 or 2004. Now, she's pregnant, and have moved from Copenhagen back to her hometown. Since she says she has promised the father that he gets to be anonymous, naturally Se & Hør connects the dots. They don't come out and say it, just let the readers draw their own conclusions from the picture and the story.

Prince Joachim is attending the Denmark-Albania football match in Parken tonight, 8/6-05. I just saw him on television. Not part of the official programme. I think it is nice that he shows up to show his support.
