i'm in love for Christian. He's a precious baby. but i hated when he was photographed with a dirty mouth in his birthday. that was incredible! i never expected to see a royal baby like that.
apart from that i think mary is doing a very good job as a mother.

I loved that picture of him! All babies look like that when they eat cake, even royals! It shows that he's normal. And he looked extra cute, too!

I agree, I'm sure the new princess will be very beautiful .. But I think Christian was cuter first time we saw him than this little girl though. They do look a lot like ..

Yes, acd, he looked cute I agree but one of these days we'll see little Christian taking his bath! Some pics are funny and cute but please keep them in the family albums. These royal children are becoming too "commoner".
Prince Frederik told to the press his daughter was not a doll, but a child. I agree with him. Well Christian is not a puppet or a little clown either.

I think there's a difference between seeing Christian eat birthday cake and seeing Christian naked in the bathtub. The first birthday of the future King is something to be shared and celebrated.....a bath is not. Hence why the photos are neither a big deal nor unwarranted.
As for royal children becoming too "common".....would you prefer that we never see photos of them ever until they're 18 or something? Come on now.

I agree completely, Sister Morphine. His photo all messy eating his 1st birthday cake was simply adorable. Helloooo! He was turning 1 year old! He's human... and we're not in the 16th century... royals are not supposed to be supernatural or divine beings or anything anymore...enough said!

My God, how skinny is Mary?! She looks almost like she was before she was pregnant! That was really fast!
Christian is so cute, he didn't want to go back inside to Lillepigen, but to stay and watch the truck some more!  I can see that truck trumps sister in his mind!

That is such a great article! I love Christian, he always seems to do the cutest things. And poor Mary, I think the article implied she had to do a little extra work to get him to come inside . Well, she'll have to get use to things like that, being a parent to a toddler, and in a year or so two toddlers, when Princess Lillepigen gets older!

The woman in the second pic, who is so very thin, is Jane Stephens. Mary looks almost like herself, but still a little heavier than her normal weight- not that that's a bad thing. She looks about the weight she was when she and Frederik were dating, prior to her engagement.
