I really like Laurentien's dress. It is very flattering and is a wonderful color on her. I think if Mary wrapped the silk or sating ribbons on her gown as they were done on the model (picture is in another thread...I'll have a look for it) it would look better. The way it is wrapped now is not very flattering.

Looking closely, I think they are wrapped the same way.

I think the dress looked better with the longer ribbon, but it's understandable why she had to shorten the ribbon. I think the dress looks quite regal on her although it isn't my fav dress. I didn't like it the first time I saw it, but like many of her outfits, it grew on me.

The dress doesn't look too bad when you see it in full length but that choice of colour always brings to mind the image of a Cadbury chocolate bar...hehe

Mary's dress is a repeat from her Australian trip. Laurentien's dress looks like the dress Letizia wore to Mary's wedding!

Mary wore he dress in New York, not my favourite at all.

Princess Laurentien looks amazing, best I have seen her since Haakon and Mette-MArits wedding, flattering cut colour and wonderful jewels

Both of them looked very lovely indeed!

Princess Laurentein looked great with her gown. The color looked splendid on her. The hair was fine so with the jewels and her shoes.

CP Mary was elegant as usual. I just don't like the idea sometimes of persons wearing gowns that really wraps them up. It's nice to see CP Mary wearing less jewelries. She looks great as usual. Love her purse!!

Both women look incredibly radiant and lovely. I like the deep purple dress from CP Mary the color fits her perfectly and the wrap accentuates her figure very well. The best part of the dress in my opinion is the neckline, I like how the rich satin is draped over her shoulders and neck. Her hair and makeup was flawless. I like how she accentuated the dress with very little jewelry as the dress has alot of elements to do and her purse is very lovely.

I agree with Larzen that Princess Laurentien has never looked better since Haakon and MM's wedding. She has "redeemed" herself from that horrible dress she wore the last time she officially visited Denmark. She's lost some weight and I guess she'll never get over the dark eyebrow pencil, but nevertheless she looks great. The dress is very lovely and the jewelry is AMAZING!! When one wear a relatively "simple" dress like Laurentien it is ok to wear a fair amount of jewelry, and the Crown Princess shows the opposite effect as well.

Brava to both ladies, and of course Prince Constantijn wasn't too bad himself

I like the photo of the two women admiring the Crown Princess's gerbera.:)
