IMO she is very poised and polished now - but not as natural as she used to be as wombat said.

It seems she is very concerned about how she appears in the media and likes to control her image to the extent it stops her acting as spontaneously as other princesses such as maxima.

I think Mary has the most wonderful smile and I think if look at all the photos and not just one or two she smiles as happily and brightly as ever, with all the selfconfidence and charm anyone needs.

I think Mary smile is as beautiful as it was before she became a CP. She has kept her natural self and just learned when to up the came in the fashion stakes.

Troonopvolgers is featuring the latest official photo of CP Mary. This was released by the DRF back in March or April along with a photo of Mary and Frederik with the children.

And she has changed also her make-up, it;s more darker...

I don't think the earring are new. And I can't see that Mary's make up has changed, it's as subtle and delicate as ever.

She does look incredible beautiful and very regal in those photos.

I think it is the gown that I love about these new portraits. I think the earrings may not have been the best choice I still love photos.

Mary looks very pretty but do they airbrush these pictures bc they look very airbrushed to me.

I love the new photos. Mary's earrings have been around for awhile. Professional potraits always make you look the best. Lighting and makeup artists work wonders. And yes, most likely they were touch up in the developing process. but she really doesn't need that much.

I always believe that Mary looks best when she's photographed sideways. Her pictures here are not that good. Her smile seems awkward. I always favor the pictures of her looking sideways or the old official pictures.

I like candid pictures of Mary the best. When she has to pose for a picture her smile isn't as good. She looks beautiful here, as she usually does, though.
