Tomorrow, April 29. there is a State Council.

Next week on Wednesday, Frederik is present at the School Olympics local competition at Egevænget, one of my favorite events for Frederik.

Mayor of Elsinore, Benedikte Kiær, is also looking forward to HRH Crown Prince Frederik's participation in the School Olympics:
School Olympics is a fantastic event that we look forward to hosting in Elsinore. Crown Prince Frederik is when kids begin the competition to make the day extra special for children and adults. I am sure that we can look forward to a wonderful celebration for children sport at Elsinore Athletic Stadium on Wednesday. "
 
This morning, Frederik as always attends the annual School Olympics local competition, Athletics Stadium, Helsingør:

Just watched the morning news. About 600 happy active children, bright sun og blue sky. Frederik was warming up with the children - wearing sport clothes himself.

Just watched the evening news with half an eye, a longer feature with Frederik at the event. Frederik was interviewed and the children thought it was "mega cool" to meet him. Perhaps also a feature in the main news later, if I will listen more closely this time :cool:

Here tonight Frederik is btw responsible for the award ceremony in connection with the Danish Management Society's 50th anniversary in DR's concert.

One of the boys secured a selfie...

In the video he talks briefly abut motivating one's own children to do sports by being an example and through play intially and then perhaps later on in a sports club.
His own parents supported him when playing tennis.

Yesterday in full naval uniform and now with a nice suit, after earlier looking great and fit in exercising clothes. Denmark just keeps giving and giving ;):flowers:

Just watched the evening news on TV2 covering Frederik handing out 'The Brain Prize 2015' here tonight. The news host called it 'The Danish Nobel Prize' - it was awarded to four researchers who conducted research in dementia.

Tv2 usually don't put their clips online though.

A cheerful Frederik joked in his speech to the winners of The Brain Prize that he and Mary had battled about who should go and present the award and meet the many interesting guests who were present that evening. So maybe they both will attend next year.

It will be a sporty day for F&M today. With Frederik to this event Mary will be in Aarhus with her 'Free For Bullying' children realy run. As you can see in the pictures I'm afraid the summer weather unfortunately have decided to exclude Denmark :cool:

And Frederik was proud when he could hand over the silver and bronze medal to Danes.

Frederikk's support also means a lot for the athletes:
- It is super great for us that he has interest in coming out here on Bagsvaerd Lake and he is always super committed when he is present. It's really great.

Thanks, Polyesco.

Yes, that's a very clear statement from Frederik, considering that he has to guard his word. It really is time to change direction.
FIFA is a scandal and it becomes more and more likely that a number of high profile countries will opt out of FIFA, at least for a period.
DK leaving will no doubt have a political backing no matter who will be the next Minister of Culture.

FitforKids is a nationwide voluntary association founded in 2007 which provides a free weight-loss program in Denmark for children between 7-15 years and their families. The FitforKids program consists of training for both children and parents, nutritional counseling, parent coaching, motivation program and social events for families.

In 2011, FitforKids received a donation from Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary's Foundation.

Frederik spoke and motivated the children and then it was time for the children if they wished to ask Frederik some questions:

Q: Are you (informally - which neither F or M btw care about at all) good to exercise a little?

F: Good question. I think I'm pretty good to exercise. In some periods I exercise more than in other periods. But I have it in such a way that every time I go out and exercise it should preferably be fun and I actually think it's something I can get it to be. I think it's good to exercise and be physically active, so I have tried many different kinds of sports activities throughout the years. And I'm constantly curious to try some new things - even though I'm now 47 years old - but I think I get a lot out of it, and I do not think I will be too old to try new things - or it's clear that parkour is perhaps a little difficult for me (and everyone laughs)

"It's so nice Frederik will come and see us and see what we do in everyday life."

The very proud founder of FitForKids, Pelle Plesner:
"It means we all together from across the country have been able to say a thousand thanks for the generous donation as the Crown Prince couple gave FitForKids back in 2011. It's always a great thing to be able to say thank you for something as some have given you. And the Crown Prince Couple's donation was a very big help at a time when it was very very needed."

The FitforKids children were allowed to ask Crown Prince Frederik questions and he responded them gladly:

Do your children like to do sports?
- Both my wife (informal) and I like to be active and so do our children too. So they have sport clothes on like you and they thinks it's good. They also like being active outside.

Are you good to exercise?
- In some periods I really like it, but it should preferably be fun even if it is raining and is bad weather. I usually is able to find something that motivates me and if I run it feels after about 500 meters good as I there have reached the limit where I am well underway. It is about thinking positively when you're training.

Which kind of exercise do you like best?
- I don't feel too old to try new things. Or perhaps parkour would be a little difficult for me at 47 years old. But football and road cycling I like a lot and also triathlon.

Frederik also told the children about the time he was a child:
- I can easily remember how it was when the longest pause came in the school. So everyone hurried out in the school yard and ran after each other, I remember we were playing catch-I.

Seems to have been a succecfuld visit at the FitForKids yesterday:

I can't resist posting these comments. And that's what a royal visit gives to a small voluntary association. A huge pat on the back and recognition as no else can give. If their future King visits them, they have done it quite well.

The association's founder Pelle Plesner writes on Facebook:
- It was a really big experience for me and for all of FitforKids children to meet our Crown Prince! We were very proud and happy and probably a little nervous, but Crown Prince Frederik is a fantastic and generous guest who made it a memorable experience for all FitforKids children, parents and teachers! The event took place at the Rigshospitalet - where Mary has given birth to all their four children.

Frederik has meet Saltin before and it seems like he made a significant impression on Frederik:

CP Frederik during his speech talked about his own encounters with the man:

- The sport is invaluable. You get a clearer view of things. You think it's all going a little easier. And you get more profit. Then there follow a lot mentally with staying in shape.

Q: What about Frederick's own children? Is easy to get them to practice sports?

- It's clear that if it's falls you naturally to do sport and physical activity in general it's a pleasure to see that it rub off on your children and you don't necessarily need to 'kick them out of the bed'. Or to get them outside in the weekends, they do it pleasantly themselves and enjoy it.

Q: What discipline would Frederik prefer to participates in if he attended school Olympics?

- Oh haha. Yes, what would I choose, I think I actually would try to throw. I was relatively good to that. I practiced also sports here at this stadium when I went to primary school, so it's fun to be back.
