Forget the Logies, the ARIA's and even the Oscars. As the year draws to a close, it's time to hand out the coveted Sydney Confidential People's Choice Awards, otherwise known as The Choices. And you get to decide.

This week, Confidential is asking you to vote in the following categories: Man of the Year, Women of the Year, Best Newcomer, Best Visiting Celebrity, Celebrity of the Year.

Unfortunately he lost - Guy Sebastian is jsut waaay too popular with the kids in Australia (he was last year's Australian Idol, and own favourite idol!). But Frederik came second, which was really excellent considering he was against Eric Bana (Troy/Black Hawk Down), Hugh Jackman (all round nice guy/ X Men's Wolverine), Reg Reagan (footy yobo...very funny) etc.

BUT Mary has also been nominated for "Woman of the Year"!!! Wow, can you believe it! She's up against Delta Goodrem who is just soooo mega popular amongst the young people here in Australia (I like her too, eventhough she can sometimes be a little bit too perfect), Sharon from Kath & Kim (very very funny! she'll probably battle it out with Delta, but not if Mary trounces them both!)

DR's nyhedsvært Reimer Bo Christensen bliver en af de gennemgående figurer i udsendelserne. Kronprinsen skal medvirke på den sidste og nordligste del af turen.

Crown Prince Frederik has agreed to take part in a new venture at DR1 (Chatleen: one of the public service tv-channels). 7 weeks of expedition by dog sledge in the North Eastern part of Greenland is going to be a new tv-series on the Denmark expedition 1906-1907. DR's anchorman Reimer Bo Christensen (Chatleen: the other man pictured) will be one of the main figures (can you say that in English??) in the programmes. The Crown Prince will participate in the last and most northern part of the trip.

I did not mean cheating. I meant that it looks like he has more fun with her. Like they look like they have more of a good time together than does Mary and him.

That's really to much. When you look at videos of Frederik and Mary together you see that they are very in sync and they both have very robust sense of humour (see Denton interview, Olympic interview etc.... they're always elbowing each other when the other tells a good joke).

I haven't really seen Frederik and Alex really interact apart in pictures though (not really sure why that is), so perhaps I should see some clips. But Alex doesn't seem like the elbowing "good joke Fred" type, more proper and mature. That's why I have a hard time accepting that he could have more fun with Alex... Fred's much more loose, you know what I mean? And also we all know Frederik's fairly expressive person, and when he laughs he really shows it, so that you see him laughing a lot with other people too - its not only with Alex.

Som protektor for en feltekspedition til Grønland, som Center for Muskelforskning, Københavns Universitet og Rigshospitalet gennemførte i 2003 og 2004 med det formål at undersøge de forandringer, der sker, specielt i menneskets overkrop, under meget lange ture på ski, eksempelvis når man krydser indlandsisen på Grønland, aflagde H.K.H. Kronprinsen uofficielt besøg på Center for Muskelforskning på Rigshospitalet, hvor de foreløbige resultater blev fremlagt af professor, med.dr. Bengt Saltin og andre projektmedarbejdere.

The Danish court seems to be very good at taking new official pictures of their royal family. Haven't we seen like two new pictures each of Frederik and Mary now in the past month?

Frederik's pictures always look the same to me though, new or not, whereas Mary's pictures look different each time. I guess its the uniform on Frederik that makes his pictures look the same from one to the next, whereas Mary gets to wear different dresses and shirts.
