Another un-official event for Frederik & Mary - 12th May (I wonder how many they have?)

"Thursday, May 12, 2016 the Crown Prince Couple hosted a dinner for international gallery owners from "Art Basel" in Frederik VIII's Palace, Amalienborg.

Prior to the dinner HRH The Crown Prince showed the guests around and talked about the works of art in the palace. In the picture the Crown Prince tells of artist Kasper Bonnén decoration of the dining room. The Crown Princess was present"

:previous:yes. I also wonder how many "unofficial events" take place, although this looks official but was not on the calendar. last month they had an opening of 'Huset', on April 12, which we got no pictures and was only placed on the calendar after.

But at least we got some pictures this time. Frederik, being an art lover, can probably talk about the renovations and art pieces for hours.

one more photo that was not included in the gallery

Thanks Roskilde and polyesco great pictures, I would love to see the room with the world map and of course have Frederik and Mary show me around the rest.

They received a dining table as a wedding gift from either City Hall or Parliament. I wonder if this is the one.

This is a different table. The one received as a wedding gift from the Parliament was a brown colour.

Thanks Nordic. I guess they may have used the Parliament table at their home at Fredensborg.
