Avicenna, we'll be posting a new thread at the beginning of June to ask for suggestions for the next round (September to December), but we'll be asking for suggestions for books on specific topics so as to cut down on the total number of books to go into the polls.
Your suggestion might not fit under the proposed topics for the next round, but I hope you'll put it forward next time we're asking for suggestions for books on recent European history because it really does look interesting. The only possible drawback is that it's rather expensive.

I think according to Leslie, they were just good friends; apparently Leonie Leslie was also friendly with the Duchess of Connaught.
