King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia is welcomed at Madrid's Barajas airport by Spanish King Juan Carlos as he arrives in Spain on the eve of the inauguration of an international conference in Madrid aimed at promoting dialogue between the world's main religions. The two monarchs will speak at the opening session of the three-day conference which gets underway on July. The conference is organised by the Muslim World League following an initiative by King Abdullah, whose country is the birthplace of Islam.

Would a Muslim King give jewelry to another man's wife? That doesn't seem like it would be proper protocol, unless the King is buying something from the Queen on this visit.

Looking at these photos, the princess looks radiant. Queen Sofia has quite an earrings. A rare photo of Letizia and the King:

He would be giving a gift to the Queen of Spain - not another man's wife.

A funny picture of the King and the Queen. Did the King step on his wife's gown ?

A lot more new pictures on the getty. Sofia was wearing new earrings and bracelets. I like Letizia's hair, she needs a new gown.

queen or no queen, there is no problem that muslim man give a gift to a woman althought she is married,it's gesture to say thanks to the invitation or welcoming something like that...you know what i mean?
