Who is Infante Don Carlos? Why is he an Infante? I thought only the sons of the King or the Prince/Princess of Asturias can have the title of Infante?

Don Carlos is the first cousin of Juan Carlos. The mother of Juan Carlos, Maria de las Mercedes de Borbon y Orleans and the father of Don Carlos, Alfonse II de Borbon are siblings.

Don Carlos is also styled Duke of Calabria.
