Diario de Mallorca - ETA no marca la agenda de los Reyes
Diario de Mallorca writes that they have been told from Zarzuela sources that both the Kings and the Princes will increase their public appearances in order to convey an image of serenity and counteract the effect of fear and insecurity following the Palmanova attack.
The first mark of this was when prince Felipe yesterday was sailing with CAM. The newspaper also speculates that the king, prince Felipe and maybe princess Letizia will take part to the minute of silence organized today.
The Queen, the dukes of Palma and Infanta Elena are in Greece, but Diario de Mallorca thinks that the queen may return to Mallorca to attend the concert of Plácido Domingo in Palma Arena on the 4th. It is also expected that the Queen visits on Friday at the charity event being organized in Cristina Macaya Náutico Project.
The princes pay their respects at the minute of silence -moment today:

Great pictures, Letizia looked really relaxed and dressed all up for summer. Felipe looks all ready for the race. How many days is the race or how many stages till the end? Cant wait to see the little girls.
Btw, Where do Felipe and Letizia stay while in Mallorca?

Nice pictures so far. And yes, hopefully we'll get to Leonor & Sofia.
Does Felipe always captain the vessel when he's on it?

El Rey hace novillos el primer día de regata | El Periódico de Catalunya
Speculations about that the queen may return to Mallorca just at the end of the week.
El escapismo de las Infantas - Vanitatis
Vanitatis article says that the baptism in Greece will take place just on the 6th, nobody seems to know when it is.
Vanitatis also reminds that the presence of the Royal Family is the best promotion to the tourism of Mallorca, and wonders why the baptism must be on the same week with the Copa del Rey? The article praises the princes to be present at Mallorca.
Don Felipe aplaude a Unicef - Actual - Diario de Mallorca
The first day of racing prince Felipe passed between competition and solidarity. In the morning, with princess Letizia at the minute of silence in memory of two civil guards killed by ETA, then sailing with CAM at the regata. In the afternoon, after the competition, the prince wanted to support the work carried out by UNICEF, which held a party at the Mallorca Real Club Nautico de Palma. Felipe was interested in the work of Unicef and posed with their representatives in Mallorca for the media.

Regata Copa del Rey
Jaime Anglada will have concert on behalf of "Fundacíon Alex" on Wednesday, I hope we will see the princes there this year too.

They likely planed the trip long before the ETA bombing. the Queen rarely missed her Greek family's gathering. Her brother just had a heart surgery, it's very understandable if she wants to stay a few more days. Cristina is said to be one of the godparents, she will have to be there. Elena usually went to Hampton, NY before the separation. Now she probably will go whereever her sister goes.
I just hope not to see them in the baptism pictures sold to the magazine (likely Hello) if the rumor is true. It's rather tasteless for the Queen of Spain or the infantas of Spain to appear in the pictures sold for the highest bidder.

I agree but the decision might not be down to them, similar to Peter Phillips' marriage when QE II appeared in Hello! If they don't like it the choice is to stay away or contribute to the funding and if they don't like that either I'm afraid they will have to put up with appearing in a yellow mag

I hope that it is not true that the baptism is the 6th. I do not deal as the Greek Royal Family chose this date, in the past they were enjoying free vacations in Marivent, and now they programme something when they know that the Spanish family should be in Mallorca...
The Infantas left the Cup of the King and the burden of press and onlookers when they had opportunity, so it is not new. The absence of the Queen is more out-standing, in Mallorca they were hoping that this night she was coming to Plácido Domingo's charitable concert, but it seems to be difficult that it will be like that.
If the news are true, they have not gone to the baptism, that it is one day, have gone on holidays to Greece with the excuse of the baptism. If it was a bad idea with the economic crisis threatening the tourism, it is a terrible idea after what has happened. While they enjoy the Greek peace, which remain in Mallorca have to go out and put good face.
