The Kings and the Princes of Asturias inaugurated yesterday the exhibition “Copa del Rey years of images” that everyone will be able to visite until the day of 21
It is not easy to almost summarize a quarter of century of history in a hundred of photographies. The exhibition “Copa del Rey years of images”, inaugurated yesterday by the Kings and the Princes of Asturias in the Club Nautical in Palm, has been born with this divulging spirit.
It were ten minutes to the six, when the Kings arrived at the facilities of the Club Nautical. They were received by a retinue formed by the councilman of Deportes of the City council of Palm, Rafael Durán; the delegated advisor of Puig, Enrique Puig; the president of the Govern, Jaume Matas; the mayoress of Palm, Catherine Cirer; the delegate of the Government in the Islands, Ramon Partners; the president of the Real Spanish Federation of Candle, Gerald Pombo; the president of the organizing committee of the regata, Jaume Enseñat; and the president of Camper, Lorenzo Fluxà.
The surprise of afternoon was the arrival, not anticipated, of the Princes of Asturias, who went after the Kings to the conditionned swimming pool of the Club, where has settled the floating exhibition. Letizia entered the enclosure after its husband, saluting to the press present there. Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía was first in beginning the route by the sample of 95 photographies, followed of the Princes and the authorities of the Island. A full room of memories for the Royal Family who started more than a smile to the Queen, mainly. The one that it needed more explanations on the images was Letizia, that very was letter the commentaries that Qeen Sofia and the Prince were giving to her. Gesture of surprise when being discovered to itself in a snapshot: the one of Nico Martinez, dated in summer of the 2004, during the visit of Princess de Asturias to the Real Club Nautical of Palm, that caused a great commotion between the photographers.
The sample exhibits 95 photographies in an iron assembly that they have as it bases covered buoys of garnet paper that float on the swimming pool covered with first stage of the Club. In her 24 prestigious local reporters graphical, national and international have participated. Between these professionals are the Balearic photographers of the MUNDO/El Day of Pep Vicens, Cati Cladera and Bald Enrique.
After the visit, the Kings and the Princes saluted to some of the participant graphical reporters of the sample.
