Spanish Royals in Greece for the 2004 Olympic Games

These are very nice pictures. The news coverage here has pretty much ignored the royals at the Olympics, so it's good to see these images here. Juan Carlos and Sofia look very pleased and happy, and the picture of Felipe and Letizia is just priceless. I envy her arms!
 
The Spanish Royal Family came out in large numbers to watch the undefeated Spanish basketball team play the USA basketball team in quarters. It was a tough game, tied at the half, but in the end the USA was able to find its three point shot and won in the highest scoring game of this Olympics (102-94). At first they were relaxed, but just see their faces change--especially the King. (Sorry, thumnails only.)

These next ones are just Letizia (full size) but they so well capture what a person goes through when you are rooting for your team and they just can't pull it off at the end. The agony of defeat!

Adorable family and they really are enjoying themselves to the hilt. My favorite is the first one of the King and Queen-so sweet.
 
Juan looked like he was so into the games, quite amazing for a mere 5-year-old. He really has his father's sports genes.

Such fantastic photos! The whole family looks as though they are having a marvelous time. And, Letizia and Felipe are so cute together.

The Prince and Princess of Asturias truly make a beautiful couple. Hopefully they will have a lifetime of happiness.

I thought they all looked great! Well, they had a little rest in Mallorca didn't they? Although I don't know why, I feel this year's holiday was shorter than the other years. But that's only my imagnination!
