I loved Letizia's outfit! Beautiful color and fit.

I also really liked her HM's outfit.

In Spain, as in many Latin countries, it is the day that children are traditionally given gifts--brought by the three kings or the three wise men. I believe that in the Orthodox Christian tradition it is also of great importance.

The "Pascua Militar" that these photos are from has been celebrated in Spain since 1782. The Spanish Military won an important battle on the island of Mallorca on the Feast of the Epiphany in 1782, and the King, Carlos III, declared that henceforth the military would be honored on his day. And so it is. In contemporary Spain, the King often gives one of his most important speeches of the year at this event--as he did this year.

Lovely pics, thank you agm and Anna. :)

Both Letizia and Queen Sofia looked very charming, elegant, classy and regal. Letizia's sense of style, elegance and class is obvious, as much as her ability to keep it simple, unpretentious and decent - rare qualities indeed.

I absolutely agree with you. Letizia was the epitome of regal elegance, even perfection in this outfit today.

So stunning yet so regal, too.

(Sofia didn't look half bad either. Spain has a very elegant and regal present and future Queen!)
