On the occasion of the first official visit of Irish President Mary McAleese there will be the following program:


-Talks between King and President at Zarzuela Palace
- Lunch offered by the Kings at Royal Palace, accompagnied by the Princes



Not much involving the royals and sorry, no tiaras!

Thanks for all the pictures. It's a pity it wasn't a SV with a gala dinner but at least we had the state lunch.

Interesting this is called a state visit with just a lunch. I thought there would be a gala or another day event with one of the Spanish royals. It was more of an official visit to me.

I don't believe its a State Visit but rather an Official Visit.Some are calling it a 'State Visit' but that was in 1993 I believe.
